Not worth buying, barely noticed any difference in my cough (if anything it was a minimal improvement) and felt like I wasn't getting better... Not only that, but they advise to take 15 ml on each dose, which is basically 8 doses (bought the 120 ml), so you either take 4 doses each day, which will last 2 days, or it can be even worse as they say you can go up to 6 doses a day so you're left with basically nothing for the next day! Just avoid this, been taking a different syrup that was just a bit more expensive but I've noticed improvements in my cough, it's 300 ml and each dosage should be 10 ml so it will last a LOT longer.

Works out very expensive as the bottle is tiny. Not noticed any improvement with my cough. Apart from that it is the most revolting taste I have ever experienced in my life.

Simply awful. Did not help one bit with my cough and it also has a horrid taste to it. I mean I know cough medicines aren't suppose to taste nice but this just made me gag to be honest.

This was recommended by a friend, and also read other reviews, so I gave it a go. Unfortunately, it simply did not work for me. My cough was just as bad as ever, it did not subside at all. Even straight after taking a dose, I’m still coughing. Each dose is 15ml which is more than the other cough medicine I had before, so after taking 7-8 dose, the whole bottle is gone. Now I’m trying a different brand, and it is so much better, despite the taste. So, I would say Broncho Stop doesn’t work for chesty coughs. Although it might for dry tickly type ones, as the syrup is very sweet and syrupy.

I have to say this stuff is vile. Thought I’d give it a try to shift this cough. I couldn’t smell it as I had a cold so downed the 15ml recommended dose and immediately started questioning my life choices. I was as gagging and coughing more than before I drank this foul liquid. If your in the business of self torture then this is just the thing if your not give it a wide berth. Oh and I’m still coughing so the above wasn’t even worth it!

Can't really say how effective this was as we both really chesty colds & needed to share the bottle.This only gave us 1 day supply for us. Wouldn't buy again due to this. We're in our 80s and on a limited budget. I have never heard of a bottle of cough mixture with only enough for a 2 day supply. Normally our cough mixtures last us at least a week. Won't buy again because of price.

Thyme and marshmallow- neither are great when you’re feeling poorly and in this combo they are a big fat NO! Get the Benylin and leave this alone. Oh and I’m still coughing so even with the horrid taste it’s not worth it

Absolutely tastes vile, maybe was off but date was fine. Smells nice but the taste is rancid, couldn’t use it

Most amazing cough medication I’ve ever had. I was not able to sleep due to coughing, I took a dose of this every night and I was able to sleep bc the coughing stopped! I thought I was getting one night and didn’t take it. I couldn’t sleep and finally took this at 1 am and was able to sleep again!

these are a must for a surprise cough. together with the pastels version, they help crush a chesty cough before it has a chance to develop.

Best cough syrup EVER!

I was in Europe and purchased this product 3 years ago. I tried to find it in the US ever since then. I was beyond happy to have been able to order it on Amazon.

I first bought this in England. It’s the best cough syrup I’ve had. It got me through a west end play without spasm. I was pleased to see it available on Amazon in the US after getting another cold when I came off the road weeks later.
