Do these rust where the handle meets the metal part of spatula?

No rust where handle meets metal part of spatula. The handle connects to the metal sheet (blade) that is surfaced with the silicone. The blade is a metal sheet that is then covered by the thick silicone film. The silicone extends past the metal sheet about 1/2 inch on all side to provide a flexible surface when slipping spatula under food being cooked.

Will the handle of these spatulas bend easily when pressing burgers?

The handles don't bend but the metal part doesn't extend very far into the main silicone part of the spatula so they are pretty floppy, especially the bigger one. I like the material's non-stick and high temperature characteristics but they really should be firmer so they can lift things heavier than a pancake. (By the way, never press your burgers!)

As the name implies they are made of high temperature silicone and stainless steel. We highly recommend them. Hope this helps.
