Great Looking Watch
If you like Camo watches you’ll love this. After trying & failing to get this watch because of fakes sold on eBay I finally got it & the real thing is a beauty. It’s a good size & feels comfortable to wear. Easy to read the time too. The negative display may not be to some people’s taste but I can read it so I like it.

Poor light
Difficult to see the dial clearly and light is poor but I am colour blind so maybe just me

If you like white watches this one is definitely an attention grabber
Comfortable and light (but not so light that it feels like a fake). Looks good on my wrist and goes well with a lot of my clothing.

This is a fantastic watch. It is functional, sturdy, & alluring. The GA-100 models are some of the most appealing & versatile watches that Casio offers. I received a fake several years back (NOT from Amazon) & having never previously owned a G-Shock, its authenticity was initially not under suspect. I obliviously wore this imposterous gadget for a few months before becoming completely exasperated with its baffling time keeping inconsistencies. The hands would randomly change their positions when I used basic functions, so I’d have to reset them several times a week. After I had my fill of this ridiculousness, I tossed it into an old shoebox & forgot all about it until it recently resurfaced. Now that I own several G-shocks, my accrued familiarity helped me in recognizing that something wasn’t right (plastic crystal being a major telltale), & I soon knew it for what it was. I decided to get the real artifact in order to remove the taste of artificial G-shock outta my mouth, & it did. Instantly. This watch is a sight to behold & a joyance to wear. I have a 7 & 1/2 inch wrist & prefer larger watches, & the size did not disappoint. The detail & geometry within the dial are well done, as well as the deceptive simplicity of its operation. Ain’t nothing like the real thing.

I am a hunter and a grad student, so I needed something durable, concealable, and something that I could "class" up. This watch is all of that! It looks large in the people photos on here, but it fits the wrist just right. There were no instructions on how to set it, so I'll post what I used: 1) In time keeping mode (the one where the digital shows the day), press and hold the "Adjust Button" until you hear a beep. 2) Your "Home City" on the digital section where the day was will now be flashing. Set it to your Time Zone (NYC, MEX, MIA, LAX, TYO, etc...) using the "Reverse" and "Forward" buttons [on the right of the watch]. 3a) When you have chosen your city, you can press "Adjust" to set it, and the time hands will automatically adjust, or.... 3b) If you wish to adjust it for Daylight Savings Time (DST), press Mode instead of Adjust for step 3, and use the "Forward" or "Reverse" button to choose Yes or No. *NOTE: I wasn't sure whether to use DST or not, so I pressed "Adjust" and waited for the hands to adjust to the time. When they adjusted I compared the time to my computer clock, and it was an hour off. I then held the Adjust Button again until the "beep", then immediately pressed "Mode" to adjust the "DST" to "on". Hit "Adjust" to save it, and the clock readjusted to the correct time. These steps (provided by YouTube: The Watch Hut") will adjust your time AND day. All other functions can be accessed using the "Mode", such as the Stop Watch function. Hope this helped!

This is a great new addition for the Casio G Shock GA100 series. I am a fan of positive displays--not usually negative ones. Up until now, one of the most popular GA100s had a positive display--but the hour hand was red--which was difficult to see at times. This new execution has a positive LCD display and both watch hands are painted white--making this watch much easier to read at all times--although it would be nice if Casio would put a bit more lume on the hour/minute hands. The other functions have not changed. The band is a dark grey and the watch face has grey "camo" on it--but it is rather dark and not that noticeable--fine with me. The light does an adequate job but the LCD displays--at night in a dark room--are not the easiest to read--but a little better than in the past. The LCD displays are pretty easy to read at other times except when the hands are in their area--not an uncommon problem with these kind of watches. The watch is not solar powered nor has it atomic sync--might be nice if it did because I do like those features but I can live without them. I don't use the time signal and the watch does not have the standard "beeps" to turn off--hopefully the battery will last quite a while. Overall, a really nice new addition to the G Shock line.

Love this watch it. Second one I have owned. Rugged, stands up to abuse and just keeps working. Highly recommended.
