Excellent Conector
Easy to use fantastic make me down load all the information I need from my old hard disc which 10 years old use to be in my old PC.

Very disappointed, product returned.
I thought that this product was going to be good when I first connected it because it seemed to work fine straight out of the box. However when I came to use it in earnest it didn't actually perform well at all. I had purchased it specifically to recover some data from a 3.5" 550GB drive and I found that when transferring large amounts of data the communication was extremely slow with some long pauses, and worst of all image files that were transferred or read directly from the drive wouldn't render properly making them unusable. I tried using the device with three different PCs without success, so to make sure that it was this product and not my drive that was the problem I purchased a 3.5" SATA-USB dock (a CiT, again from Amazon) and this works exactly as expected, so my drive is OK (thank goodness) and I have returned the WANLONGXIN to Amazon.

not happy with it as i try it and it blue one of my usb ports and smoke was comeing for the pc the usb port was bunt out . will not buy any more of them

Only buy if you want to destroy the USB ports on your computer!
If I could give zero stars I would. In addition to not working as advertised, it have destroyed one of the usb ports on my laptop!
