Good quality for the cost
Good quality extension. Outer sleeve feels metallic. Cord coils easily and does not foul like thinner ones do. Plug and socket make good contact for crisp clear sound. A good deal for the cost.

Good quality but jack is shorter than needed
Audio quality is pretty good, however the male jack is too short to sit completely in my laptops port and the slightest movement can pull it out enough to cut all audio.

Heavier and stiffer than ideal in my application – but I can’t fault the quality of manufacture.
Very good quality! So why the three stars? This thing is almost certainly very tough and durable – not that I’ve put that to the test – with its woven outer covering. Positive engagement with both the plug and the socket. I bought this in order to extend the reach of a very lightweight earpiece as I teach on Zoom, and use a mixing desk to mix my personal mike and my instruments and provide a headphone output that I can control. But the earpiece cable is too short to allow me to sit that comfortably during a session, and I didn’t want to go down the route of Bluetooth and latency, so an extension cable seems of the best idea for my earpiece. It does work well for that purpose, but in some ways it’s not so great: it’s quite a stiff cable, and it’s quite heavy. So in fact I can’t leave it simply on the floor for me to plug the earpiece into, because it will pull it out. I have to have the end of the cable secured to something near where I sit. A lightweight cable would be perfect, one which is much more flexible. I know this is a very specific use for an extension cable, and I guess I can see other uses for it, although again I’m not convinced about the heaviness/stiffness of the cable and whether that would stop it being user-friendly. It’s a quality product, and I hate to be at all negative about it, but I’m wondering if they really thought through the usefulness of the way that this has been engineered.
