Much Better Than People Say
I have been using this scooter daily for almost a month at the time of writing and I have some thoughts to share. I had to read many reviews when searching for a new scooter, upgrading from a cheaper and more "traditional" scooter with plastic wheels. This review is for those of you who, like me, needed to hear more about it from people who've owned it to make a purchasing decision. Quality: All the parts of this scooter feel solid and well machined. I have no complaints about the handlebar grips, the deck, or the rear brake pad which are the three elements one would interract with on a constant basis. Practicality: - When riding around, the scooter does not rattle very much at all. It also does not squeak or creak when riding as long as you have the small harness screw tightened securely. - Speaking of that harness, (for lack of a better term), it is a small screw that you must loosen in order to lift it slightly which releases the folding mechanism for the handlebars which fold flat against the deck. I like this system a lot, it works very well. - The height of the handlebars can be adjusted, but if you are any taller than 170cm, as I am (181cm) then you will probably have them up all the way. As such, when they are up all the way, a small pin comes out through a hole in the outer layer of the spine, locking its height in place. THIS IS FANTASTIC, as you never have to worry about the handlebars getting lowered ever so slightly over time. You never have to readjust the height, which can be a fiddly process at the best of times on most scooters. This is a very underrated feature. Riding Experience: - The speed is not as fast as regular scooters with plastic wheels. This is due to the tires, well... the fact they are real tires. I've found that it is plenty fast for zipping around the city, yet not too fast that it will accelerate down a hill at an uncontrollable rate. I cross a bridge every day and whilst I just walk it up most of one side, I ride it all the way down the other without reaching speeds that I can't come back from. - The tires make for a softer ride than regular plastic wheels. I don't feel all the bumps and ridges in the pavement nearly as much. Furthermore, the tires allow for more grip, meaning my ability to lean into turns is improved over regular scooters, especially in damp or wet conditions. - When reading reviews, much was made of the ride height of this scooter being too low. I can tell you that it is NOT too low... for the most part. I have scraped the bottom on a few occasions, but only when transitioning to a section of road or pavement that changes significantly in gradient from the last. This is not something that happens often and if you have any experience riding a scooter, you know to look out for this sort of thing anyway. This scooter simply requires slightly more vigilance on your part. Don't give this to a child to ride though, especially around busier roads. Maintenance: The only thing you have to do before riding this scooter (other than lifting it out the box and unfolding it) is inflating the tires to 60psi, as indicated. This is a little bit of a struggle and is definitely made easier with a second pair of hands. The inconvenient position of the nozzle requires you to flex the tire somewhat in order to change the angle of the nozzle just long enough to screw the pump onto it. Easier said than done but not too much of a bother once you get the hang of it. Overall: I am satisfied with this scooter. It is not perfect but I am happy with the upgrades over my previous bog-standard scooter. The wheels with tires are very confortable and more secure to ride on. The handlebars never need adjusting. It feels good to hold and to carry, (not weighing more than 5kg if I'm not mistaken), and the slight issue of the ride height is alleviated by an extra dashing of common sense and vigilance. The five star rating does not mean it is perfect, it just means that it has fulfilled my needs to a tee.

Great fun scooter
Just leaving this review in case any bigger people are looking at this - I'm 195cm/6'4" and about 85kg and find it easily big enough, in fact I bring a 12kg sack of dog food back from the shops on the handlebars and about 10kg of shopping in a rucksack and it copes just fine! I bought this for transport around town, to help strengthen and mobilise my stiff lower back and also just for fun - it delivers on all counts! The ride is fairly bumpy even with the fat tyres, but not terrible. Low clearance takes some getting used to, but you soon learn the footplant and lift technique. It gets you around a lot faster than walking, and is much less hassle than a bike, just fold it up and take it with you - no theft problems. Zipping around town doing chores becomes an adventure - they really put a smile on your face and gives you a good whole body workout to boot. Get one! PS I watched a Youtube review which suggested upgrading the bearings, and that made a decent improvement to the ease of gliding/effort required. They were "Reds Bones" skate bearings, and you need 4 of them.

Pretty good
Been using this scooter for a few months now going to and from work through the middle of town, here are my observations: Pros: -Ride is very smooth despite not having suspension -Scooter is very quiet with absolutely no rattling, as advertised (almost too quiet though as people won't hear you coming and might unknowlingly step into your way) -It's sturdy and well-made -It grips well even in rainy weather, feels safe and comfortable -Folding mechanism is robust and quick to use -nice and light (like most scooters this size), easy to carry with for a quick stop shop if you fit it with a strap Cons: -It is a bit low to the ground, but you get used to it and it's not a very big issue as long as you pay attention to the ground in front of you. -It's slightly slower than solid wheel scooters. -The biggest problem for me, and the reason I don't give a 5/5, is the brake. A consequence of the rubber tyres is they don't grip the underside of the brake as well as smooth wheels would, I would recommend being careful about your speed if you're on a pavement with other people walking along as an emergency stop isn't easy. Overall had a pretty positive experience, the issues are mostly minor and it's been a solid workhorse for the near-everyday use I've subjected it to, everything still feels as solid as it did out of the box. Would recommend

Sturdy adult size scooter that folds, and is fun to ride!
Nothing to fault really! Very good construction....strong and able to support my 14 stone weight easily. Fold mechanism is easy to use, and makes this a very practical adult size scooter. Not too heavy to carry when folded. Bigger tyres make for a softer ride - they are a good compromise between off and on-road whilst still allowing a good glide between pushes! Get one....they are great fun and a good alternative way to keep fit!

Smooth city ride
I had high expectations after putting 5000km in an old suspension scooter from Decathlon. The Razer lived up to its name, though. I use it in London for short 2-5km rides daily. Its most honoured feature is its smoothness as it glides through any bumpy and uneven surface. I returned a Micro Classic after a 300m ride - it is remarkable indoors, but not on city pavement. The Razor is low, which is excellent - much more comfortable than its higher competitors. I managed to grind its bottom only three times so far in the last couple of months - this was of concern to me before purchasing the Razor. It is not any more - With the proper technique, it covers most of the surfaces London (2 to 3 zones) can offer :) Its low platform is a well-worth tradeoff to me. Pumping the tyres is difficult, but it holds the air well. The rear brake is shy, but this is not the fastest anyway, so it is manageable. I am glad I gave the Razor the credit - I would rebuy it without any hesitation. It is simply the best choice for my use.

Razor A5 Air - absolutely the best cheap 8 inch kick scooter with inflatable wheels.
I have been using kick scooters for more then 10 years. Razor A5 Air 8 inch kick scooter with inflatable wheels is the best comfortable cheap scooter I have used . Will take you places and stay fit. No vibration or rattling noise when used, quite fast and lightweight. Very small to be taken with you anywhere, bus or train. Fully recommend by a kick scooter expert. Wink 😜

Scrapes the ground
It scrapes the ground and I'm only 58kg. Maybe if the ground is a flat room ok but any kind of bump it snags. Returned.

Wheel went flat after riding it two times…
It is a great scooter... if lasts longer to enjoy it... Unfortunately for us, one of the wheels went flat after my 9 year old son ride it only two times. He was very happy about the scooter so I tried to see with Customer Service if is a way to just change the wheel but i got a NO for an answer. So I had to return the scooter and I was advised to purchase another one once refund complete but I haven't both the same model, because I was too concerned same story can happen again...

Quality stuff and fun to ride
After using this scooter almost daily for 6 months I thought I'd give my take on this item. I weigh around 80kg, 185cm tall. This scooter carries me very easily. I extend the steer all the way up and its perfect, i dont have to hunch over or anything. The air tires make the ride very comfortably on a variety of ground surfaces. For the most comfortable ride, check your tire pressure every few weeks. The harder the tired the less energy it takes you to ride. I pump it up just beyond the recommended pressure. Pumping up the tires is a bit tricky as it is difficult to reach the valve with the head of your pump, but it's not too terrible. It is just awkward. The rear fender is your break. I would DIY a small extension for it if you were to ride in the rain or on wet roads, as the water will spit upwards onto the back of your legs. Extending the back fender just a bit will solve this. The scooter rides without any rattle- apart from this fender. I fixed this by removing the rear wheel, removing the fender, placing a small thin rubber patch in between the footbase and the fender and placing it all back. Does not really require attention, only if you want it to be very silent. The fender is also your break. Riding on dry surface the break gives enough friction to properly break. On wet surface however it is sketchy and doesn't break well. The folding mechanism is super easy and quick. It is also designed so there is no rattle from this mechanism at all. I take this thing on the train with me all the time and there is no wear whatsover from continuously folding it in and out. Very sturdy. When you get your scooter make sure to check your headset bearing. Mine was a bit loose which gave movement / rattle. Dont set it too tight either as your bearings will wear quickly. Just put a wrench to it and adjust it so it turns freely and smooth but has no movement back and forth. I love this thing. Lot of fun to ride.

Smooth ride
It handles cracks and bumps in the sidewalk pretty well. The brake isn't the most powerful, so I can't go too fast, but it's a smooth ride. Easy to fold up and carry with me into shops and cafes.
