Spins well, worked as needed. Only time will tell about longevity. I am happy with the vent.

This arrived bent. Hopefully it doesn’t impact installation. Will come back to update. Update:: Dented rim made installation a pain in the butt!!! I ended up having to cut wider than the hole with a handsaw in order to get it in there. Now the edges are jagged. It spun once but its low wind today. Will update on a windy day. Update update: will be returning. It doesn’t spin.

I was worried because the price was so low but once I received it, I realized it’s great quality. I purchased this for our storm shelter and as you can see, it fits perfect on the roof. Pulls air and smoke great! But if you for a air induction chimney cap creasote will stop the spinning of the device. Other than that it works great. Still worked great at keep back draft down our chimney.
