Okuma Celilo Trout Rod

This thing works great! Super responsive and sensitive to feel. They are really light which is good because I backpack and do long day hikes. I have bought 2 of these and am defenatly going to order another. I accidentally shut 1 in the car door then the second one my friend did the same and they broke obviously. But this is what im going to buy again good price, super good performance.

Lo pongo acá porque no sale en la descripción, es una caña de 1 a 10 gr de tipo UL. Es muy cómoda, muy ligera y bastante resistente logré sacar un pez de 1kg con este equipo. Muy satisfecho.

Buena caña, UL. Ligera, tiene buena sensibilidad. Algo que le falta Amazon, es enviar el producto mejor protegido, porque viene en una caja sin protección.

I’m really loving this rod! I’ve only had it for about 2 months but have caught maybe 5 or 6 largemouth bass in it and around 30 striped bass from the pier. I usually use a surf rod when striper fishing from shore or a jetty but when I’m in a pier mostly site fishing, I like a bass fishing rod because of the shorter butt. It allows me to handle the rod better and feels more like an extension of my arm. This rod is very durable, well designed and for the price, you cannot beat it! I love the lure keeper, the guides are solid, the cork feels like good quality and it’s handled a bunch of stripes ranging from 2-9lbs. Of course I use a drop net for the larger ones but I’ve been able to reel up then pier flip the smaller ones no issue. I bought the 7ft medium heavy and I couldn’t ask for more. I actually bought this rod because the 7ft medium heavy Abu Garcia Max SX I was using for this same type of fishing broke when I was casting a 1oz casting metal too hard. I was sad because I loved that combo but when this one arrived and I saw it had two tip sections, I tried fitting the extra tip on my broken Abu and it fit!! So I got a new amazing rod and saved my last rod with one $46 purchase!
