A few nuggets
Had a few nuggets in it, on Tactics and Forks. But enough to beat "anyone"? Not really.

Complicated
It was a good book It was just hard to understand how it was written It wasn't meant for me and I have a good understanding so I mean I learned a little bit from it but for the most part it earned its three stars

One avenue to advance one's game before engaging is to read and learn from well documented games and strategies.

Helped A lot.
Easy to understand. My Chess game improved a lot after reading the book. Some of the illustrations and examples.were a little hard to follow, but overall, this book is worth the money in my opinion.

Outstanding book. Basic and advanced information with detailed explanations of each segment of the game. Very impressed with how the author walks you through an effective and clear step by step read.

The book arrive well, with no damages or details and it’s legible. But, unfortunately, it’s just another introduction to chess. It’s not a concise introduction. There’s nothing useful about openings, middle games or endgames, nor tactics, strategy or analysis of legendary games. It’s just “this is chess, the pieces moves like this, you win if you checkmate your opponent”. And that’s all.
