Mini ABC Pops

The Learning Resources Mini ABC Pops are a fun way to introduce and practice the alphabet. The pieces are colorful, easy for little hands to hold, and the pop-together design makes learning feel more like play than a traditional educational activity. I like that children can practice letter recognition while also working on matching and fine motor skills. The pieces are simple enough for independent play but also work well for parent-and-child activities where you can practice letter sounds and vocabulary together. The pieces feel sturdy enough to handle regular use, and the compact size makes them convenient to store when playtime is over. They also provide a nice alternative to screen-based learning by giving kids something tactile to interact with. Overall, these are a simple, engaging, and useful alphabet toy. They would make a great addition to a preschool learning setup or as a gift for a young child beginning to learn their letters.

I cannot say enough good things about the Learning Resources Mini ABC Pops! My son absolutely loves them, and I’ve found so many ways to use them beyond just learning letters. The set comes with colorful, durable popsicles and each one has uppercase letters on one side and lowercase on the other, which makes it really versatile for early literacy. One of my favorite features is the convenient storage case. Everything snaps neatly into place, which means less clutter and no lost pieces…a huge win for busy parents! And, as with all Learning Resources products, the quality is top-notch. The popsicles are sturdy, kid-friendly, and safe, so I feel good letting my little one explore independently. Ways we use these: Letter recognition: I call out a letter and he finds it, or vice versa. Spelling practice: We spell simple words by lining up the popsicles. Color sorting: Great for teaching colors at the same time. Fine motor skills: Opening and snapping the popsicle sticks in and out strengthens little hands. Games: We make a “popsicle tower” or hide letters around the room for a scavenger hunt. Tips for parents: Use the popsicles to introduce sight words once your child knows basic letters. Keep them in a small basket or the original case for travel or car trips..they’re lightweight and mess-free. Pair with a dry-erase board for an interactive spelling game: write a letter and have your child find the matching popsicle. Pros: Highly engaging and fun Multiple learning activities in one set Durable, high-quality construction Easy to store and organize Cons: Smaller pieces, so best for children 3+ and with supervision for younger kids

This toy is a great activity to buy your kiddos as they are learning their alphabet letters and sounds. It comes with 26 adorable popsicles that you can take off the colored portion and match it with the corresponding letter and a picture that starts with that letter. It’s also a great toy to use for imaginative play while they are learning their alphabet letters. I am a speech language pathologist and this is one of my go to activities for my students as it promotes so many early learning skills for them. Even though they are a little smaller than I expected they are actually just the right size for little fingers and help promote fine motor skills. They are durable and even though they have been dropped multiple times have held up nicely. This would make a great gift for kiddos 3-6 as they are learning their letters. A great motivator for those kids who don’t like to sit down and go through letter flashcards but like imaginative play and games.

The Mini ABC Pops are so cute and fun! My students love “playing” with the pops, matching letters and colors and also naming objects. They are small in size which is good for small hands, but the tops can be tricky to take off for some kids. The letter on outside of top is uppercase and letter on pop is lowercase, which is good teaching moment. They are lightweight and appear to be durable. Recommend!!

I bought this Learning Resources activity for my toddler, and I couldn’t be happier with how much it’s helped support their learning while keeping them entertained! From the moment we opened the box, my child was fully engaged. The pieces are colorful, sturdy, and perfectly sized for little hands, which makes independent play much easier and safer! The activity does a fantastic job of blending fun with real learning. My toddler is already recognizing more colors, shapes, and even starting to count thanks to the hands on play. It’s also helping with fine motor skills and encouraging problem solving in a natural, low pressure way. I also love how open ended the play can be. There’s structure to the activity, but my child often comes up with her own creative games using the pieces, which keeps things fresh and exciting day after day. This is one of those toys I don’t feel guilty about giving screen time up for it’s educational, well made, and genuinely fun. I highly recommend it for any parent looking to boost their toddler’s learning through play.

Fun and educational! Excellent for toddler and preschool aged kids. Sturdy and bright to keep their attention. The tub they come in is sturdy as well and great for storing as well as easy to carry.

These are adorable and kids love them, but the rigid plastic can make a fairly loud clicking/clanking sound when they bump up against each other, I have to use them for one on one work in a private space because when I used them with a student inside a classroom the teacher got upset about how much noise the student was making. The back side of the inner piece is blank, so I wrote the lowercase letter on the back side so this can also be used to match upper/lowercase. As with most items from this brand, the product is durable and feels high-quality.

I have twin three-year-olds and I teach them at home. This tool has been awesome. They like to mix and match then match. This helps with letter recognition, matching, colors, and it’s just altogether a fun game. It keeps my toddlers and I occupied for 15 minutes or more

Children should be playing while they are learning - it's the only way, and I can't say enough about this toy set. It made letter recognition learning a breeze for my 3 year old who enjoyed using it independently for long blocks of time (approx 30 minutes of play at a time) and it was a go-to piece to share with friends on little play dates. Overall, beautifully designed and good value for money.

Super cute for my JK and preschool toddlers. Their two year old niece also enjoyed playing with them. Great quality.

Got this for my Kindergarten students. They loved how fun it was and matching upper and lower case letters. Would also be great to do at home with your child

Really love these for letter and colour recognition. The tops can sometimes be difficult to take off so not great if you have grip issues. Also wish the letters came in a colour pattern order so we could work on that skill.

Bought for a birthday gift. They are smaller than I thought but made a great activity.
