how do i attach this to a bulb?

The thermostat comes with 3 wires. One is the probe which reads the temperature. One is a plug that goes into the mains, the other is a female plus socket which you plug your light fitting into (rather than the mains) so that it is running through the thermostat. I hope that makes sense. Any questions just let us know :-)

Is this easy to use and suitable for my beardie? Can you use it with a timer?

Very easy to use for daylight/heat bulb its suitable for bearded dragon is very accurate with temperature, would recommend putting separate thermostat in tank, I used mine on mechanical timer without any problems.
