Affordable and Great Picture
Great Picture and easy to setup and use. Love Samsung's new one remote, slim smooth back and one connect box as well as their new menu format.

Great TV, but get the warranty
To make a long, sordid story as short as possible, I really think this tv is the best available on the market right now for the price. In the past 6 months, we have purchased FOUR (yes, FOUR) 4k tvs. About 9 months ago, our beloved 2015 Samsung JS9000 died on us after only 13 months of ownership. That was a 3D tv and somehow had the best picture quality ever, even better than its many successors (they no longer make 3D tvs). We tried out the LG UJ7700 and the Samsung KS8500 and ended up returning both of them. The LG's picture quality was just sub-par (the native motion rate was only 60hz even though they made every attempt to confuse in the description and make it seem like it was a native 120), and the Samsung KS8500 wouldn't mount to the (Samsung brand) wall mount without shutting off (Samsung customer service's advice was "just don't mount it to the wall" ok...thanks). Finally, for $1400 we settled on the Sony X900E. We spent more than we wanted and weren't thrilled about it, but we were so miffed with Samsung at that point, and OVER the tv search, that we just stuck with the overpriced Sony. Again, not bad picture quality but somehow didn't compare to any of the Samsungs. Additionally, the Sony was super heavy & thick, and the remote was enormous and wouldn't sync up with any of our other remotes (soundbar, cable remote, etc), so we ended up having to use 3 remotes every time we watched tv. Then, we refinished our basement and had to buy a new tv. Back to the search we went, only 6 months after going through it before. This time, however, the QLEDs were a reasonable price! We settled on this TV (as well as a long extended warranty, which we learned the hard way is a MUST with Samsungs). We just installed it yesterday and we are happy to say that it is the best quality we've seen yet since the JS9000. The tv is super thin and light, and the remote is tiny and modern as well. Additionally, we were able to sync everything up this time so we no longer need 3 remotes like we did with that big clunky Sony. Some things we noticed are different than the Samsung JS and KS models--it doesn't really have a lot customization options as far as viewing experience. The JS9000 was big on letting you customize the picture quality to your liking. We miss that. Also, it's not as bright as the JS and KS. It is very, very clear though. It's hard to imagine a better viewing experience than this. Our advice after all of this--go with the Samsung, but get the warranty!!

Crap out of the box
It's my own dumb fault, but I bought this unit for the Superbowl last year, but never set it up to check whether it worked. Yes, dumb. I know. It sat in the box, untouched in a very safe spot until this year's Superbowl. Well, it was broken from initial set up. I went through all troubleshooting and went to a local, very reputable, repair shop. The screen is DOA. This means the TV is totalled. To repair it's more than a new tv. I was 21 days out of warranty and Samsung won't do a damn thing about it, and agreed the repair will be more than a new unit. Now I have a 55" turd to throw away.

Great TV
This was a great deal for this type of Samsung model. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the resolution is great. Using its remote as a universal remote is not ideal and cause issues between device interfacing such as a blu-ray player or appleTV.

unnecessary waste of my time due to lack of information ...
Dont fall for this one if u want to wall mount, it has no accessory to wall mount, neither amazon nor samsung could help, hence returning, unnecessary waste of my time due to lack of information in description, deceptive i would say, few hundred less than q7 series

Great Image and design, poor internal computer for streaming
Image, sound and design are great and for those criteria this TV deserves 5 stars - you're getting what you paid for. What was disappointing: 1- The internal processor is slow and you can't rely on it if you will use the TV primarily for streaming (Sling, Netflix, Internet). I had a non smart TV before and I used an amazon fire TV box. Apps run 10x faster in the fire box vs in this TV. 2- Delivery was 3 days later than the limit specified when I purchased the TV - I lost Superbowl...

Nice TV. Amazing how light and thin.
Good solid value for the price. Hard to believe that the color is not calibrated upon arrival. Would rather use my own streaming service than the built in smartness streaming service.

Super easy set up
Super easy set up, but I would warn others to make sure their prior passwords from their previous Samsung is on hand---I forgot mine, and spent a long time on the phone to reset my password, but TV related.....This is a great product.
