Easy Patch Aerosol Ceiling Texture, Popcorn, 14 oz

Buy it! It is all you hope it would be.

This is a do-not-buy. This product stops working while more than half the canister is full. The spray mechanism is horrible. The good thing about it is that the color seems to be more consistent with standard ceiling texture than other brands. I just wish I'd been able to use all the product.

Ok, I’m not the type of people who put review on everything I buy from Amazon. BUT, I had to share my experience with this product. Had a leak from one of the sinks upstairs, ceiling started sagging after a few days. Got a plumber out to fix the leak first. Waited for a month before tackling this eyesore. Cut the dry wall, placed a brace, then wen to HD to purchase few things for the repair, like 2x2 drywall, premixed patching putty, and few other popcorn ceiling texture products (which none worked)!!! I was very skeptical about this one… so I give it a try.. MAN THIS THING WORKS.. just make sure you shake the remaining part of your life before using this. I’m serious .. shake the can for at least 2 minutes like there’s no tomorrow.. Start with straight lines adjacent to the patch first then work your way to cover the whole thing. THEN ago back one more time and do it 90 degrees to the first pattern. Make sure you put safety glasses, and a tarp the floor as it will snow everywhere. Hope that will help someone!!!

So I had a toilet leak and some water damage/mold. It was quite a process but this spray popcorn was the last step. You do have to shake the can way longer than the minute stated on the can. It goes on more like a foam but as you can see from the photos, it blends fairly and surprisingly well from afar. If you look closely, you can see that it isn't a perfect match but who really is gonna look that closely? This stuff made a complete mess with over spray but a plastic drape would have fixed that issue. I'm happy with the results and I'd use it again. Only needed one application and I didn't have to paint at all after application! That was the biggest plus of using this product. Hope this was helpful!

There is simply not enough gas pressure in these cans to do the Job properly and the Mud inside is a very small amount.

Despite reading warnings about trying to fix a damaged popcorn ceiling, I thought I'd give this a try. I was very pleased with the result. Ar first the spray wouldn't come out, but I called Homax and got excellent advice from a seasoned customer service rep. The spray covered well and really blended in with the original texture.

Very messy and doesn’t adhere to patch area

To my suprise this product worked great. They areas I needed patched were first scraped until it to effort to get more texture off. Then I lightly sanded the areas so that it could be primed. I used kilz indoor and outdoor primer. Then I waited 30 minutes . Shook the can for atleast a minute then pretty far away from the ceiling I sprayed in a fanning motion. Less is more. Couldn't be more pleased
