Effective drainage
I used this to drain the area under a large bungalow gable end, where the south westerlies often hit it with a lot of rain. It was buried in a narrow trench and surrounded with small pebbles. A new concept for me. Not intended to act like a normal drainpipe, it actually allows the rain water to drain away naturally into the ground and only comes into use when the rain is so heavy that natural drainage cannot work quickly enough and the trench fills with water. That is when the slots in the pipe allow the excess water to enter and get carried away to an outfall some distance away. Excellent procuct. It works and is far from expensive. Highly recommended.

Garden land drain
My garden on the west coast of Scotland suffers from water logging due to the heavy rainfall we get and these flexible, perforated drains work well. I find the 80 mm the ideal diameter. After digging the trench it is best to surround the drain with stones or something similar to prevent the holes from becoming blocked with earth.

Good quality
Good quality product. Lay it correctly inside some nonwoven geofabric and it will do an excellent job. There is no difference between this product and what the trades use. Remember that the perforations must be at the bottom when you lay it. It may seem intuitively wrong but that's how it will work most efficiently. Recommended.

Land drain.
Used as a soak away from a down pipe in a new large shed ( man cave) . Seems to be working brilliantly and been there for 2 years now! Make sure you cover the pipe in gravel before covering it with soil, that acts as a filter and stops the pipe getting filled with silt and eventually getting blocked! Would definitely buy it again!!

Not suitable for french drain
This pipe has holes on all sides so is not suitable for french drain. I read reviews which said the holes were only on one side. Waste of my money
