CozyPhones Sleep Headphones - Over Ear Headphones from Ultra Thin Cool Mesh W...

A friend recommended headphones such as these for listening to music or podcasts in bed, and I chose the CozyPhones ( CozyPhones Sleep Headphones & Travel Bag , Lycra Cool Mesh Lining and Ultra Thin Speakers. Perfect for Sleeping, Sports, Air Travel, Meditation and Relaxation - BLACK ) because the material of the headband seemed light and cool. I'm very happy with the purchase and I would recommend this product. I did worry about the cable getting tangled around me, but this hasn't been a problem. The headband is comfortable, the sound quality is good, the travel bag for the headphones is very useful. The only thing that could be better, for me, is the size of the headband, which is slightly too big for my head, which causes it to move a bit when I turn my head against my pillow. However, I still gave it the 5 stars, because the headphones work well enough otherwise.

I bought these to try out as a replacement for my fleece-banded SleepPhones which still work and are very comfortable but are very hot to wear - particularly in summer. This are cheaper than the Sleephones so I thought I'd give them a try first as I already have a working (if hot!) pair. They are much cooler and a very good, snug fit but the actual speaker section isn't as comfortable as the equivalent in my other pair. These feel slightly thicker and I have a tendency to wake up with a slightly sore ear on the side that I have been sleeping on, which I don't get from the SleepPhones. However on the upside, I'm not waking up with a really hot head any more. So 4 stars not 5 - and as I only use them intermittently when I'm away from home I'll give them a bit longer before i decide if they're too uncomfy and swap them for the more expensive option.

OK I'll start by saying I have listened to music for years both live and with headphones which MAY have contributed to low level but seriously annoying, sometimes, Tinnitus. When it is at its loudest in makes it difficult to sleep. Playing music helps. Even ignoring the Tinnitus I like drifting off to sleep with music playing. I have tried to find something for years that allows me to do this without resorting to external speakers. I have tried in ear headphones, pillow speakers, gummy headphones, sleep headphones. You name it I've tried it and although whilst lying on my back its fine, the moment you go on your side, you wake up, as its uncomfortable. The pillow speakers also dig in and its sooooo annoying only having one ear listening. So I was recommend these. When they arrived I was very very unimpressed, they came in a small sealed bag as though they where about to be popped in the microwave and thin material gave me the instant reaction "These are going back" However I then had a test drive and promptly fell asleep!!! They are great, the headphones I put just behind the ear so nothing is pressed wen you go on your side. The quality is fine, I have Bose headphones so am spoiled but these are good enough for what they are being used for. You can also pull the headband over your eyes so can act as a blindfold to get nice and dark. The thin material is actually a benefit as is is soft and seems breathable. A great buy, I'm off to bed :-)

Bought these to play white noise at night in order to block out other noises. I find normal in-ear headphones too uncomfortable to sleep in as i'm a side sleeper and I was skeptical about how comfortable these would be after reading other reviews. Comfort wise you would have no problem sleeping with these, incredibly comfortable, it's as though there's no headphone there. They are large and the speakers do move around, this is nothing that couldn't be fixed with a couple of stitches if you wanted to. Unfortunately for me they don't do the job that I purchased them to do. My main aim was to block out other noise at night without disturbing my partner. This would not be possible with these headphones, firstly because of the fact that they don't sit snug to your ear so even on top volume you can still hear other noises. Secondly the need to have the volume so high in order to have the slightest effect means that anyone else in the room will be able to hear what you're playing as they are effectively just two small speakers. If you are buying these to block out noise I would not recommend, however for low volume listening and real comfort that needs only a few minor stitches to secure, you can't go wrong for the price.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I bought this product for my wife who is a bit of an insomniac. She found it very easy to use and wear in bed. The sound cannot be heard outside of the mask which was a bonus for me. Combined with slumber apps and sleep assist music on the phone it was a much appreciated help in getting her to sleep at night. Five stars!

The headphones are ok, headband is too big personally. I don't have a small head, but the headband was still pretty baggy on me, and it would often end up around my neck in the middle of the night, or would have twisted round. The speakers are decent enough in terms of sound quality and comfort when laying on them. The set I received has a faulty left speaker whereby the sound coming out is much quieter than the right. I contacted cosyphones regarding this and was told a member of their team would be in contact. 10 days later I have still heard nothing even after I chased them again. I will be returning these for a full refund.

I initially loved the headphones they were comfortable and relatively good sound quality but they soon broke, now only one of the headphones works and it drives me mad when I roll over in my sleep and they stop being effective (I work nights and need to listen to things to sleep in the day)

Perfect for sleeping! I luuuurve these things. The speakers are embedded within soft felt pads which are about 2mm thick. You can barely feel them even when lying directly on the side of your head. Not uncomfortable at all. I plug them into a small bluetooth receiver which connects to my phone so I can wear these 'wirelessly' (technically). The pads are free within the head band so can be adjusted to suit the user but still stay in place pretty well once adjusted. The headband is very thin material so also not uncomfortable or bulky at all. I've listened to podcasts for about 11 years to help me get to sleep and these things are by far the best and most unintrusive headphones I've ever used for such purposes. Seem like they'd also be good for running or sports though I've not tried it. Ive used them every night for about a year and they're still fine. For the price this is well worth it I'd say. If and when they do need to be replaced I'll be buying another pair straight away.

I had bought another brand and they were too tight. This brand are very comfortable and adjustable, with good sound quality.

La fascia è morbida. Le cuffie in pratica sono fatte a dischetto, sono regolabili e il cavo esce dalla parte posteriore in pratica sulla nuca. Il cavo è lungo il giusto ne troppo lungo ne troppo corto. Unica cosa che ritengo esagerata il costo. Tenendo conto del materiale mi pare un costo elevato. Metà sarebbe già troppo.

I've now had this product for over a year and have overall been happy with it. It's my second set of sleep headphones; I initially bought it because I was looking for a cooler material than my original fleece ones, and these have indeed been light and comfortable even in the summer. I use them with a white noise app on my phone turned up to the highest volume, along with earplugs, since I'm a light sleeper and my partner snores. This combination blocks out most of the noise. The ability to use both sleep headphones and earplugs is why I've chosen headphones like these rather than in-ear earbuds meant for side sleepers. For a while the speakers would slip around inside the headband every night, until I picked up a trick from these reviews: put some double-sided tape on one side of each speaker, slide the speakers into the correct place (irritating to do), and press them into place. They always stay put until I have to take them out every few weeks to wash the headband. Also, I have a smallish head and the headphones fit comfortably, rarely sliding off. And while one can easily get tangled in the cord, I've trained myself to only turn from side to side from my back, not my stomach, so the cord can't get wrapped around my neck. The cord is more than long enough for me, and I like that these headphones are not only cheaper than Bluetooth headphones but also won't die on you in the middle of the night. What's finally prompting me to write this review, though, is that the speakers have been slowly dying - I've clearly yanked the cord from my phone a few too many times and damaged the wires. I've read enough reviews on here to know that other people have had issues of longevity too, so I was planning to simply replace the headphones, possibly with another company. But first I contacted CozyPhones to ask if they sold replacement speakers separately, since the headband is still in fine shape. They offered to send me some free of charge. They responded promptly via Amazon's contact service, took my shipping address, and told me the speakers were on their way within less than 24 hours. I am very pleased with their customer service and wasn't expecting to get replacements for free.

I found these headphones, really comfortable to lie on, and the sound quality is pretty good. I sleep on my side and found in-ear buds a killer, but now I can comfortably drift off listening to music or a podcast. The special cord does not get tangled as I lay it up over my pillow to the top of the mattress, so I can turn in either direction. In theory a Bluetooth headband would be better, but the Bluetooth receiver looked like it added bulk and was more expensive. Overall I am happy I chose not pay the additional cost. Everyone's head is different so the speaker pocket is generous to allow you to move it to suit your head. The speaker can therefore move a little off position in the headband, as you move on the pillow. I found a stitch or two quickly anchors its position to suit you. Very Happy.
