FRESKO Automatic Vacuum Sealer Machine, Easier Vac Hands-Free Food Sealer with Bag Detection and LED Indicator (V5)

We got this to vacuum seal beef steaks, it looks simple to use as it automatically seals when it sensors the bag. The seal is excellent as it the vacuum power, it visibly pulls the air out efficiently squeezing the contents to perfection, ready for freezing. Obviously with a vacuum and heat seal it’s not quiet, it has a little noise but only when in operation, it has no noise between seals. It’s good solid construction and in my opinion excellent value for money, especially as there are many more available with far bigger price tags. It also has an attachment for wine bottles too, I’ve not used that though.

Worked first time, after a few months second use doesn't suck and doesn't seal. Seller sent a replacement which works fine. Push down on top to get a better seal.

I purchased a Vacuum Sealer Machine in October 2023, and after just four uses, it malfunctioned by January. The device fails to open after sealing, trapping the sealed bag inside and automatically restarting the sealing process. My attempts to resolve this issue with the seller/manufacturer were met with a dismissive response, attributing the problem to a need for the heating elements to cool down, which is clearly nonsensical. This has been a complete waste of money and time trying to communicate with Fresko. Very disappointed with the product and the lack of effective customer service.

After reading reviews of low suction... I still went ahead and purchesd this as I liked the look & features. I can confirm on using it has poor suction and air pockets are still in the bag after vacuum sealing. BUT applying a small amount of finger pressure untill it starts the sealing seems to resolve this & doing this removes the air in a matter of seconds. So I can't really complain with this minor workaround. It's the one that caught my eye and I'm pleased with the results - it's quick & easy to use

the fact you need to seal one end of a a bag and therefore press a button, it would be completely hands free. It really is so easy to use. It clears the moisture and gives a great seal.

I brought this sealer for myself and was so pleased I brought one for my mother. By the time I got to see her the return period had passed. As it turned out, it didn't suction properly. I contacted fresko and they replied very quickly. I sent them the details and a short video and no quibble, they sent me a new machine. When I unpacked it this one seemed not to work either but as it turned out it just has a slight difference to my original one. You need to press down on the corners of the lid. It is an excellent machine which I recommend and a very good customer support team.

The automatic feature can be tricky to activate, as it depends on placing the vacuum bag in the right position. You need some patience for this. Sealing works fine and mostly removes all air, but it’s sensitive to how the bag is placed...avoid overstuffing or using too much wet food. Works best for dry or semi-dry items. If your food has sauce or water, the drip tray catches it, and it’s easy to remove for cleaning. Overall, suitable for small-scale vacuum sealing. I have had 2 similar machines, both of which failed within the first year & were returned to Amazon for a refund. This Fresko V5 Fully Automatic Vacuum Sealer is in a different class altogether. You merely load the food & offer the bag to the slot & the machine does the rest! It senses if the contents are wet or dry & adjusts the vacuum power accordingly. The vacuum pump sucks out the air & then seals the bag. That's it! No buttons to press. Job done - I'm well impressed. When I said no buttons to press - I lied! If you are using a bag roll, you can seal the end of the roll - for this you have to press the "seal" button (to bypass the vacuum pump stage) before you insert the bag roll.
