Excellent way to keep your dog's paws clean on road trips!
Pros: - Great concept - Perfect for traveling to keep paws clean before entering your vehicle - Strong bristles to clean, while still not hurting your dog's paws - Easy to unscrew the lid to fill water and empty dirty water Cons: - Medium size is slightly too big for a 20-30 pound Rat Terrier, but Petite size is way too small Personal Experience: I have a 27 pound Rat Terrier and a Decker Rat Terrier puppy who will grow to be approximately 30 pounds full grown. We travel a lot on weekends for hikes, and other activities. We also like to let our dogs go into our backyard frequently when we are at home, so they can run around freely. However, we also like to keep a clean home and for years I have always hand washed each of my dogs' paws in a sink before letting them back in the house. This is time consuming, to say the least. I finally did some research and discovered the Pet Product Innovations Paw Plunger and immediately wanted to try it out. After using this for a few weeks, I can say that it works just as described. It's perfect for our weekend get aways so I can keep my dogs' paws clean before letting them back into our car, and perfect for saving time washing their feet before letting them back in the house from the backyard. It has 360 degree bristles that are attached to the screw on lid, and an opening on the lid that allows you to plunge your dog's paw into the cup. The only complaint I have is that the medium size is slightly too big for my dogs' paws, but the Petitie size was far too small. It's not a deal breaker though. I just swirl my dogs' paws around more to make sure it catches on the bristles as much as possible.

My dog was hesitant, but once he got used to it the results were outstanding
I bought 2 of these. The medium for my mutt and the large for my lab. My back yard gets muddy during the rainy season (winter) and I use a lot of towels cleaning their paws. This eliminated over 80% of that work. The big one is quite hefty and a little unwieldy. My dog was hesitant to place his paw in it. But after a little reward training, he has the routine down. My middle sized mutt never did like his paws touched, but he will allow me to use this on him with little fuss. So, to the meat of the review. This works. I didn't think it would, but it absolutely does work. I fill it to the bristles with warm, clean water. I dunk even their muddiest paws into it and they come out much cleaner. They are wet, so I do have to dry them with a towel. But it eliminated so much of the struggle to get into the nooks and crannies of their paws. I'm impressed. Dumping out the water shows you just how much it cleans off their paws. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. So far it's been the best solution to the muddy paw problem.

Works great, large is huge
The Paw Plunger (large) works very well and Muggles loves it. Of course, she is a water hound in an English Bulldog body, so anything wet works for her. But muddy days (as if it ever rains in north Texas) are not a problem any more. I just use the Paw Plunger (full of water) and a towel to dry her paws and we are good to go after a stroll through the mud. The lid works great for keeping the water inside the giant mug. If left outside, the water inside can get really hot (uncomfortable) or very cold so the lid comes in handy when tucking this inside the door. One note on this product is that, when full of water, it is 144 ounces or 9 pounds (4 kg). This made it a bit unwieldy until I got used to it. It is very sturdy and the handle works great for tipping it in the right direction to dunk a paw (one dunk in and then out generally does it). It will last a very long time and certainly is big enough for a Bulldog's paws. Definitely recommended if you have problems with large muddy paws.

Absolute Game-Changer for Giant Berner Paws
Absolute Game-Changer for Giant Berner Paws If you have a big dog, you already know the struggle. Those cute, fluffy paws turn into full-on mud shovels the second they step outside. This Paw Plunger has genuinely saved my floors (and my sanity). For size reference, I included a standard can of Fresca next to it in the photo — this thing is substantial. It’s not some tiny cup pretending to handle large breeds. My Bernese Mountain Dog is 120 lbs and has massive paws, and they fit comfortably inside without awkward twisting or wrestling. After muddy backyard zoomies, I just fill it with warm water, dip each paw a few times, and the built-in soft bristles do all the work. The water gets gross fast (which tells you it’s working), but his paws come out shockingly clean. Way better than trying to wrangle a hose or using a towel that just smears mud around. What I love: • Actually large enough for giant breed paws • Soft bristles that clean thoroughly without bothering him • Easy to dump, rinse, and dry • Way less mess tracked through the house It’s especially clutch during rainy seasons or snow melt when the yard turns into a swamp. Instead of chasing a 100+ lb muddy bear through the kitchen, I handle it right at the door in under a minute. If you have a big dog with “tractor tire” paws, just get it. Your floors will thank you.

Great idea too cheaply made
I was really looking forward to this item. It's a great idea. It did help clean my dog's paws, but it is made of such poor quality material, it's not going to last or work well, though I'm giving it a try before returning it. The lid threads are very soft which makes the lid hard to screw and unscrew. They are also very short which make it unsecure. The top cap is so tight that it's nearly impossible to work with. If you plan in bringing this to the dog park in your car, better not fill it with water as it is not water-tight and the lids will just pop off if it falls over as you turn a corner. Should sell for 1/2 the price at the most. Extremely disappointed. Would have been ok under $15, but not for almost $30. That's ridiculous because it's really junky.

Fast shipping. Works as described. My dog does not seem to have an issue with the bristles, they seem soft and comfortable for his small paws.

At first, I was very concerned that this would be an overpriced item that wouldn't do us any good. While I still think this is a bit pricey, I gotta say it works even better than I expected. We have a 40kg golden retriever and the medium size was already good enough and it just works. Very easy to clean the dog's paws and we can do so super fast. And you can see all the dirt it removes afterwards. It even improved how soft the pads are. I recommend it!

This thing makes cleaning your dogs feet a breeze. I live in southern Ontario, Canada and mostly use this in the winter to wash away and salt and chemicals that they spread on the roads/sidewalks. Very similar in concept to a golf ball scrubber. My dog wasn't really keen on it at first but after a few times he kind of just accepts it. Only takes a minute or two to do all four paws and works WAY better than just a towel as you will see when you empty it (with mud/dirt anyways). I have a 110lb Rotti and ordered the medium which works just fine. As far as quality its OK but could be better. The threads on the lid are not very well done, usually takes me a few tries to get it started on there properly. The bristles started to bend out of shape rather quickly much like an old dust broom. It's maybe a compromise in cost as well as maybe in softness of the bristles vs. longevity. I would guess the latter. They are not very stiff which is a good thing as I don't think a dog would like that. Overall I would say a definite must have for and dog owner.

Love this thing for my standard poodle (75lbs) dog - when it rains outside the back yard gets muddy and he will come indoors with muddy paws. I got by using a towel on the floor and a bowl / dish to dip his paws - but this product works perfectly - it is easy to hold, robust design, holds the water great, none spills out, and the bristles inside are nice and soft for the dogs paws, gets the dirt of effectively and then I just wipe each paw with his doggy towel. Sorted job done. Recommend this to anyone with a dog and need to clean there paws regularly
