We use it to measure around the house to find where the insulation is the weakest, where draughts cool thing down; ie. where we need improvements to stop the heat escaping the house.

Lo uso per controllare la piastra del fornetto per infornare la pizza e funziona molto bene. L’ho provato in set con le finestre per controllare filtraggi aria, e funziona benissimo. Non funziona con le persone. Consigliato.

Nothing to dislike. It’s an excellent infrared thermometer. Very sturdy. Has a solid feel. The laser pointer helps in aiming, but I wouldn’t allow a child to handle this thermometer as the laser beam could hurt the eye if aimed at the eye. Recording is fast . Conversion from Fahrenheit to Celsius is just very easy. The control buttons are where your thump can reach instantly. ( not like the others where the buttons are on the side. The range of measurement is wide , so very helpful even for purposes other than measuring just body temperature. IMPORTANT: the review by someone who said that they are returning the product because the screen keeps showing just 8888 need to be checked. It’s possible that the person has not peeled off the protective screen guard on the green screen . The screen guard has all the possible LCD panel display printed on it. IT HAS to be removed before you start using the thermometer. So: excellent and useful product Note: human body temperature is best measured under the tongue. What’s being done today is forehead or wrist temperature. It is always lower than the actual body temperature which decides if you are running a fever. So for self use, aim this infrared thermometer below your tongue ( do so by looking at yourself in a mirror) and then check your temperature.
