Philips 7000 razor
I bought this razor 6 weeks ago and am very impressed with it. I previously owned a Braun series 5 but it only lasted 2.5 years. It had a battery issue immediately which was repaired under warranty and then stopped working after 2 years. I find the Philips 7000 action gives me a close shave. I dry shave every day, I have what I think is average facial hair growth and it is very comfortable to use, picks up the errant hairs that grow in odd directions. I think the circular motion you use is beneficial. It's quiet, the charge lasts a good time and it's easy to clean. Delighted and on the strength of my experience so far I would strongly recommend.

Pritty good shaver
I got this to replace my old face mower. It gets 5 stars for doing the job It's supposed to. It gets an extra star because of how close it shaves. However, I have to take a few stars away. First as soon as you open the box there's a card telling you to download the app, at the time I was thinking that there would be some settings or something I could tweak on the shaver using the app however all the app does is track how fast you move the shaver around your face and let you upload pictures of your face which is pretty useless. Secondly, most things these days charge using USB-C, having a proprietary connector that looks a lot like the old 2 pin mains connector makes me feel nervous handing this shaver to any older folks, and before you say it, yes there are waterproof USB-C connectors. Thirdly, I use a bag to store all my grooming tackle, however I can't put this shaver in that bag as it does not come with a cover to protect the foil from damage. I know it comes with its own hard case, but I already have a tackle bag to put it in. I had to purchase a foil cover separately, which seems a bit silly to me.

Excellent shaver
Having had a Philips 3000 and never had a problem over the 5 years off owning. I made a decision that rather than changing the blades that I decided to go for a new Philips 7000 and I must admit it’s giving me a nice clean shave. Once it’s charged it’s lasting well over 2 weeks. Impressed with my new shaver and I’m sure I will have it for many years to come

Very Good Shaver
I waited for a while before writing the review because I wanted to give some guidance on battery life. I've had this for around 1 1/2 months and am still on the 1st charge. I use it mostly once a day, occasionally twice. When it arrives it does need a little caring for, which is reasonable and would be the same with any new set of blades. Have a light oil. There are lots of machine oils or ones sold for shavers/clippers. Add a few drops to each blade, turn on and run for a couple of mins. Then wash under a tap and repeat a few times. You can hear when the sound changes to a smooth running, not a coarse sound. After the last run in, wash and add a little oil to each blade. Then shave. It always takes my skin a couple of shaves to adapt to a new shaver, once it did, its comfortable, no catching or pulling. I only use an electric as an eclectic and have never seen the point of soaping up. If I soap up, then I wet shave my grandad cutthroat or a throw away. Essentially its comfortable on the skin and gives a clean shave. It has lots of features which I have no idea why it has them, they teach you to move in a circular motion, well if your face is the size of an elephant maybe that sensor would not trigger. I use a mix of up/down, side to side. Thats the best my face has space for and its worked well since I started shaving around 40 years ago. No idea why you need a phone app. Its a shaver....... Maybe Philips write one for the people who have a need for a phone to be surgically attached to remember how to breathe :) We have all seen such people :) Its a great shaver and a good price, I highly recommend it.

Bad head design
The head is a terrible design. The problem is all the thick plastic borders around the 3 rotary blades. They bump against my nose, preventing the blade from reaching the hair close to the nose.

A very good shaver. You need time to be used to it. It's very convenient to use one. Shaving is good not like the 5blade razor but it's good. It's easier and convenient. Specially when you are in a hurry and want a dry shave in winter

Hammer. Was ein geiler Rasierer. Die App brauche ich nicht. Aber das Gefühl beim rassieren. So was von sanft.

I faut fournir son propre chargeur USB....
