I was initially sceptical about how well this would work, simply because of the low price. But in all honesty I am very pleased. Yes it may not be the best on the market, but so far it has functioned really well and done all I expected from a code reader. It collates error codes which can then be looked up on the internet. And very easy to navigate. The dark screen function is great for clarity of reading imo. So my opinion is that if you’re after an inexpensive code reader simply for that purpose, then it will serve you well

Saw some errors about AdBlue on my Citroen Grand C4 Picasso 2017 onwards version. I have managed to use this scanner to see some error codes and managed to cleared the code with a few attempts to stop the mileage countdown to get to 0miles left before the car won't start, then sorted out the issue. However when there's an ABS / Hill start / Parking Brake / ESP/ASR system issue, this scanner read nothing. I think if you have exhaust related issue it works for the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso / spacetourer, but won't work for anything bigger. For the price I paid for this I could have got a bluetooth one that I've seen better reviews on, so there may be better products out there for the same price range.

My dad told me to get it because he’s not here to help me. My engine light came on for the first time ever and I was panicking. I bought this to see how soon I needed to take it to the garage. This code reader was super easy to figure out and the instructions that came with it made it really clear where the information was in the device. Turns out it was something I could fix myself and I didn’t need to waste money going to a garage! Very happy with this purchase, and it’s not even expensive at all.

Price to value ratio on this one is pretty solid. I was able to both scan and clear codes on my 2013 Honda and 2018 Volvo. Live data is nice and the DTC dictionary is a helpful feature. It is made of plastic and doesn't feel the most robust (I wouldn't want to drop it too often) and it definitely lacks the features of higher end (and much pricier) models, but for the cost, this works well. Overall, if you need a code reader on a budget, this is a great option.
