HeatnBond Iron-on Vinyl, Gloss, 17" x 2 Yards (3902)

This is a wonderful product. I am repairing a patio umbrella to put on top of my golf cart and, so far, this vinyl has been very easy to work with and adheres very well. I love it!!

I purchased an inexpensive Table Runner and matching place mats and this is so easy to use, just make sure you follow the directions. I've never had a problem with adhesion and I did wash my old ones and they held up well for about a year or two, I never put them in the dryer for fear of the vinyl peeling off I just wiped them flat with my hands. And I'm going to do what I read in another review cut and square and iron on and trim, she said that made it easier, honestly this is a great product if you take your time and read the instructions and do exactly what they're telling you. I honestly love this stuff and I recommend it. Just have fun because if I can do it then all of us can do it too!

I use this vinyl to seal iridescent cellophane around a wire armature to make fairy wings for Ren Faire. I just use a heat gun and a towel to smooth it out. Works amazingly for this purpose! I’ve bought this 3 times. It’s a little pricy but it’s totally worth it!

This stuff works great for sewing when making makeup or toiletry bags.

Worked great. Does get a little wrinkly after application.

just what I needed to waterproof my project.

I wanted to create zippered bags and pouches out of recycled chip and candy bags. The first time I tried using 6 gauge, which did work, but created a very thick bag for which I needed to also order heavy duty sewing machine needles. I read of someone using this product and thought I'd give it a try. It was perfect!!!!! It was easy to apply to the bag. It has a slightly tacky surface which makes it really easy to line up, and irons on securely in seconds (I followed the instructions on the package). I found it great to work with and needed only a regular standard sewing machine needle. I found that I could tape, instead of pin the pieces together (making little tape loops in the center and toward the sides of the items) so as not to create unwanted holes in the finished product. The tape left no residue. I am going to try it on paper to see how that works. I don't mind the crinkly effect that happens from turning finished products right side out.

Very fast shipping, awesome product! I got this to make a changing pad for my diaper bag and it's awesome. Not only did I make a changing pad, I made a few wet bags, a pad for under the high chair and some changing pads for a few friends. It's easy to use and adheres to fabric great. I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and easy craft. You can use it to make table cloths and placemats too. I just chose the fabric that I liked, cut it to the size I wanted, placed the iron on vinyl over top and with a cloth in between the vinyl and the iron, slowly ironed it onto the fabric. You don't have to cut the vinyl to fit exactly because once it's ironed on its easy to trim the excess. I absolutely love this stuff! The price is cheaper than any of my local craft stores which is a huge plus.
