Worth every penny!
Worth every penny! I stupidly allowed myself to be lured into buying a cheap version of this at roughly half the price (£28) After using it my heart sank, it was absolutely dreadful. It sucked up crumbs on my hard floor (with a fancy light) but when it came to my carpets (I have two black cats, one long haired) the fake version literally ’rolled over’ the fur. I ended up having to brush the fur up with a rubber glove. Yes I’m fastidious but isn’t that why we buy vacuum cleaners (they should do the work) When I received the authentic Dyson replacement head, not only did it brush up and suck away the cat fur, it left satisfying lines in my carpet. Please don’t be tempted with the cheap versions out there - if you are as OCD as me, only this will give you total satisfaction.

This was not an exact like for like replacement but still works well and was a very reasonable price.

Excellent build quality as expected.
Excellent! I considered buying a ‘might fit’ part but glad I didn’t. The old unit had started to ‘skip’ leaving marks on the carpet and had become heavier to push. Replacing with the genuine part no more skipping and gliding across the carpet like it used to

Far better than the Spares2go option. Highly recommended
I tried the spares2go cheaper head but it was nowhere near as usable or effective as the Dyson head. After 3 months the motor in the spares2go head stopped working. My advice is to stump up an extra £25 and buy a Dyson original from the Amazon site.

Having purchased a cheaper replacement hoover head for my dyson hoover I was undecided to spend money again.. with 2 weeks as I was do dissatisfied. Please do not hesitate to buy as this item is as described, Great suction power and works just as good if not better than my original that came with my dyson. Please do not make the mistake of buying alternative heads that say they work on all surfaces as I now know they do not . This one hoovers my laminate, my tiled floors and carpet . 100% Recommend.

our v10 power head broke after 5 years of very continuous use. This head was compatible and works perfectly. Sooooo happy to have saved with the deals store option which looks perfectly brand new for only 65$

This Dyson vacuum head replacement works as good as the original. Good, sturdy build quality. We had our original head for close to six years. We are feeling good about using this one for as long.
