If you are trying to avoid all-plastic containers for food storage, these Pyrex ones with glass bases are a good alternative. I use them for leftovers, the three sizes are useful, and they fit into my refrigerator.

This was the best price on Amazon for this set, but it said it was going to take a few weeks to ship. OK, since I didn't need them right away. Each set was packaged in a heavy duty Pyrex brand box, and they were inside a bigger Amazon box so no change of breakage. These are great bowls and the lids don't warp in the dishwasher. Great for freezing and in the microwave. I use these glass bowls instead of plastic because they are leakproof and durable. Very happy with this product and the price!

These are terrific. I can put anything in them and they are well sealed. They wash beautifully and are squeaky clean. I especially like to put warm items or hot items in them and not in plastic containers which might leach into my food.

Glass is fragile. Be cautious. My order arrived and the box sounded like a rain stick. Fortunately a replacement was shipped, though it took two weeks for arrival.

Preheat the oven first! Pyrex is designed for temperatures typically used in baking, but it can break when exposed to the direct heat element while the oven is preheating. Don't add liquid to a hot Pyrex dish! This can compromise the product's strength and potentially cause it to break. Adjust the oven temperature and baking time! Glass bakeware can cause the sides and bottom of cakes to brown quickly. To avoid this, you can minimize the oven temperature by 25°F (about 15°C) below what your recipe book suggests. You'll likely need to bake it for 5-10 minutes less than the recommended time.

I am really liking these three containers because the lids have actually been made better to seal like the ones I bought ten years ago. The lids on the ones I bought five years ago just never fit right and were always loose. Time will tell if the lids will stay tight and not stretch out [loose]. Having three different size is key in storing different small amounts of food. Dishwashing safe they are. Did I mentioned they are made in USA?

Very good product. The lids fit nice. It's packaged well. One bowl had tiny scratches on the bottom so I called amazon. It doesn't effect the function so I decided to keep, so amazon gave a part refund. I ordered two sets and just the one bowl had scratches.
