I got the "Type G" for a Malaysia work trip. With "universal sockets" becoming more common, adapters like this are needed far less. That said, I did need it one time, and it paid for itself in that one time of need. It is solid, plugs in fine, and it does have USB ports, which I did not need and did not test at the time. It's a bit heavy and weird shaped, but that's just because it is well made and has lots of plug in spots. Well worth the money. Recommended.

This worked so great in Australia and was so handy to have the USB and USB-C. All the plug-ins were secure and tight.

I bought this for my trip to the UK and it worked well. No issues, I loved the amount of plugs on this block so I could charge multiple things at once. I actually accidentally left mine back in the UK when I came back home, so I can say I will be purchasing another one before my next trip!
