I've never used a natural shampoo before, but I recently decided to stop using sulfates and silicones in order to help tame my hair a little bit. I really, really like this stuff. I've used it 4 times now (I wash every other day, so it's been roughly a week), and my hair feels softer already. I can't wait to keep using it and see just how much better my life is without SLS and silicone. This comes in a pump bottle, but I found for my medium (chin-) length hair that I typically need somewhere between one and two pumps per wash. Using this shampoo is a little different than your typical drugstore shampoo. With a lot of other shampoos, when you lather the first time you get a pretty good amount of suds, and then when you repeat you get an even thicker foam. This shampoo takes that to the extreme. The first time you lather, not much happens. I was actually really disappointed--it was hard to spread through my hair, leaving parts of it feeling dry and other still dirty/oily. But when I repeated, it foamed like crazy! Way more than a regular shampoo would. You definitely have to lather, rinse, and repeat to get the full effect. Aside from that, the experience is very similar to standard shampoo. The shampoo says to leave it on for 2 minutes, which I found unnecessary. Maybe it helps for the "thickening" that it claims, but it gets your hair clean without that. The smell is great, very woodsy and herbaceous. You can definitely smell the rosemary in it. As far as cons go, I have little to report. It's expensive for the amount of product you get, but it isn't outrageous. It also made my hair feel extra prone to tangling in the shower, but I was able to detangle with some conditioner and it wasn't a problem. If you have a real tough time with tangles, be extra careful while lathering.

This shampoo... hey, I'm an older guy Okay? I've been around a Long time with the same pain the the behind hair. Very fine, no body or wave.... just super fine straw, okay? All I can do is be very careful how I wash it, use a good amount of some kind of dippity do gunk to hold it in place, or I end up looking like Moe Howard from the Three Stooges. Actually I end up looking like Moe anyway. NOTHING has ever worked for me, and I've been to great salons... heck I even dated Stylists who owned their own salon twice in my life. So, I've used the best "products", had meticulous haircuts, the whole thing and ended up looking like one of the Stooges. This shampoo... I've only used it once, so if it changes I'll come back, but today I had someone else's hair. No exaggeration. Full... beautifully shiny and thick... and FREAKING Manageable! Unbelievable people. I'm sitting here feeling my hair and instead of the stiff, straight, dead grass I used to have, this feels like Sable and Silk mixed together or something. I just bought another bottle in case the price goes up due to my review. Plus, it has all the ingredients which I already know help keep my hair from thinning and falling out. — My greatest compliments to this company. I really love it when I find a great company, and you guys are on my list of only about 4 or 5. HERE'S A GREAT TIP— I read reviews about it not lathering enough. What you want to do is start by rinsing your hair for a much longer time than just getting it wet. THEN pump out one or two pumps and it lathers like mad. At least it did for me. And speaking of that, my hair is my hair. Yours is yours— they're all different. So maybe you won't go stark raving mad for your hair like I have after using this shampoo. But I guarantee it's worth trying. You might go nuts too!

I love the shampoo! It has helped in regrowth of my hair and makes it soft and shiney. I have my friend a bottle of the shampoo and a bottle of the conditioner. She is trying it to help with regrowth of her own hair. So far she says she likes it, but, is not seeing a difference in the thickness of her hair. Hopefully it will "kick in" soon!I love the fact that after using ONE time, my head does not itch! No matter what I have used in the past, no matter how long I rinsed my hair, my head would always itch. The first time I used the shampoo, my head did not itch. This was very impressive to me! Continuing to use it and still have no itching. THANK YOU for a product that works for me!! Definitely recommend! Hair thickening, growing and scalp moisturizing. Refreshing. Really makes my hair soft, helps to stimulate it to grow, and helps with dandruff. I like to have the Peppermint shampoo and conditioner for morning showers. Helps to wake me up!! I love to have the Lavender shampoo and conditioner for evening showers. Helps me relax and wind down after a hectic day!! I found these products when I was losing hair and my hair had stopped growing. In less than 1 year, my hair has thickened slightly, and grown 4 inches! I LOVE these products!!!!

I have been using this product for about a year now. What I have noticed is that my hair doesn't shed nearly as much as it used too. Split ends and frays are minimal compared to what it used to be as well. My hair is still a little frizzy but I chop that up to regrowth of hair and my pillowcase (bamboo). I love this shampoo because of the scent and what it has done for my hair. I feel like it has really helped my hair over the last year and my dry scalp is definitely under control. In my opinion, the only thing that deterred me from initially using this product was the texture and feeling of massaging this into my scalp. It also doesn't spread well enough for me so I have to use more than what is recommended. The cost of this product is a bit steep for the amount in one bottle. Other than that it has been a great experience and I will keep buying this regardless of the price. With this shampoo, I have changed the way I wash my hair. Warm water, lather and rinse with cool to cold water. Its' also important to remember to condition your hair as well. Conditioner is similar to lotion for your hair. Their matching conditioner is nice too.

What I don't understand is why the price is going so much up on this product. I just received it yesterday and paid 8.95 for it. I'd pay more if it actually manages to regrow my thinning hair. I've used it once and can say its an ok shampoo. It cleans! However if you like suds don't expect much. I had to use quite a bit just to get some lather. It also tangled my hair a bit and made it seem somewhat rough while wet. Not good I initially thought. When it dried though my hair looked fuller and was quite soft. As to the ingredients found no Sage listed in the ingredients as it claims in the back of the bottle. I don't know much about soapberries but I thought they clean on their own so I don't know why this product needed to have decyl glucoside and other surfactants added to it. It seems to have no preservatives and that's why I think this shampoo shows an expiration date for 2020. I can't see paying 34 dollars for this unless it manages to grow back my hair though. I will update in the future after I use it more. Update: I see they brought down the price to a more reasonable price although more than I initially paid for it. I actually like the way this shampoo makes my fine hair look fuller after use but the tangles it creates after washing is a big problem. I can deal with little lather as I am accustomed to organic shampoos but what is causing such tangling? I have fine hair so that may be a factor.

I CANT BELIEVE IT. A natural product that works?! I thought I would give it a try - but I didn't think it would actually work! So I heard about this product from a friend who had purchased some of their stuff in the past. I have tried all sorts of products and was obviously skeptical. I tried the product and immediately I was pleased by the smell and how gentle it felt. The smooth rich lather did not leave my scalp dry and actually felt great to use. I did not really have high expectations but after a week or two I noticed my hair was standing up taller and stronger... i thought to myself - weird! After three weeks i was blown away. This stuff WORKS!!! I HIGHLY recommend it and my hair is coming back thicker and fuller than ever before. Give it a try - it might work for you too!

#1: hair less oily! I’ve been using this shampoo for 9 months and even did an experiment where I went on Pantene for a month. I typically shampoo only every 2 or 3 days. When I’m using the soapberry shampoo I’m less oily and can easily go 2-3 days without a wash if I’m not working out. When I was on Pantene for a month, my hair got super oily and I couldn’t even go 1 day without a wash; plus I had to use conditioner because my hair was so dry. With soapberry I can even skip conditioner because it’s so gentle. #2: hair falls out less. After shampooing with soapberry I noticed my hair falls out less in the shower than when I used Pantene. This could be because I am washing my less with soapberry but less hair fall out is good! #3: lasts long. This doesn’t foam up like regular shampoo but I can get away with only 1 or 2 pump on my shoulder length hair. The whole bottle will last me over 9 months and 2 people are using it! Impressed

I've tried many different types of shampoos because my hair is thick but with very thin strands. I tried this new Biotin and Collagen Shampoo since I trust this brand. When I washed my hair, I let my hair dry naturally and didn't put any product. I was surprised because my hair is soft and manageable the next day. I have fine but frizzy hair and with this shampoo my hair looks so silky. This shampoo is also gentle as I have not experiencesd any irritation. I also love that this shampoo has natural ingredients. I haven't used it long enough to comment on the hair thinning benefits, but given the fact it's making my scalp feel better, I believe it will have a positive impact on hair growth. I'm thinking about purchasing the conditioner, but the shampoo on its own is absolutely amazing. The bonus soapberry seed that was included in my packaging is great touch.

I have been using this shampoo now for over a week and love the scent of it. It is fresh and light. It works well in my hair and gentle on my scalp. My hair is long and extremely fine. It gets oily quickly and I struggle to find a shampoo that works well. This is a great product to add to my hair care regiment. I use it twice a week and it helps remove buildup and seems to be making my hair stronger, healthier and have less breakage.

My hair/scalp gets oily pretty quick which sometimes leads to an itchy scalp even after washing with some shampoos. I really like this shampoo because it does a good job at adding volume to my hair but also helps keep the itch away without making my scalp feel super dry.

I wish this shampoo contained more volume of product. It is rather small and does not lather very well so you need to use more of it. Quality-wise, it ticks all the right ingredients for hair growth and it smells rather nice.

I don’t know, I have a really problematic scalp along with hair loss my scalp is super dry and sometimes angry red. I reallyyyyyyyyy wanted this to be a life saver but unfortunately I feel beyond help sometimes. My hair felt fine after washing even without using a conditioner. I’ll definitely give it another go when my skin has calmed down.
