Far exceeded my expectations. These candles are so realistic yet safe. They give an ambient brightness very conducive to relaxation. The remote will turn them on and off, set the timer and change from flickering to still flame effect. When in "candle" mode they flicker, and in "light" mode the flame doesn't flicker. There is a little noise with the flickering effect but then I've noticed that with a real candle too. (for the on/off function to work with the remote the candle needs to be switched "on" at the base). Very easy to operate. I love them and have had them now for several months and they are still burning brightly every night! I would recommend them.

Love these candles. Great sizes. Love that they are real wax, gives them a real look and feel. I want a set for each room now! Love that they come with a remote which gives you the option for candle flicker mode or still light. The flames flicker in candle mode which does look pretty realistic but they do make a slight clicking noise when moving around. This doesn't bother me but it might others. The flame doesn't flicker in still light mode. There's a timer of 2, 4, 6 or 8hrs and you can dim the light brightness. Great candles. Great buy!!

I bought these because I love the ambience of candles and for environmental and health reasons cannot use the real thing. Because I wanted 2 matched candles I bought 2 sets. Here is my experience: 5* Delivery: The candles come promptly and well wrapped and protected. 5* Image: they look so very realistic, especially in candle mode with the flickering. I would say most people would not know they were not real candles. 4* Brightness On the basis of previous reviews, I bought non-rechargeable AA batteries. They are only bright enough at maximum brightness to look real. That brightness is not very bright. It is roughly equivalent to a real candle where the flame is deep in the candle. You could not read by their light, but they are bright enough to look like a real candle at maximum brightness. Below maximum brightness they 5" The handy little remote control can control individual candles and works up to around 3 metres distance which means that you can switch them on and off from bed. Also when you switch back on, each candle retains the mode (below) it was last set to. 5* There are 2 settings - candle means that they flicker and light means that they stay still - both are very realistic - possibly the flicker flickers a bit too much and the light still looks good but after a bit you notice no flicker ? Battery longevity - cannot tell as I have only had them for a few days BUT 1* Noise: The candles flames are made of little white plastic shapes poised on a thin wire and when in candle mode, the candle flicker is made by the the plastic flame flickering on its wire, which is realistic but as it does so, the plastic counterweight of the plastic flame hits the inside of the candle making a little tap-tap noise. Curiously of the 6 candles I bought, one has no noise, one has an occasional tap-tap, but the others click away merrily every few seconds. Setting all 6 to candle mode, there is an almost continuous click-click-click. If you are in a quiet room reading for instance, it is very noticeable. So how can one be OK and the others not? The spacing is critical. I have tried putting them at angles so that the plastic is angled further away (it helps but does not stop it) because basically it's a design flaw that really mars what would be a wonderful and lovely item. Curiously I think some minor design changes would remove this flaw. Do not ignore this if you want to sit in silence with a candlelit ambience. Very disappointed. For the moment I have put 4 on light mode and 2 on candle mode and can just about live with the occasional click. But I am torn whether to return them or keep them and live with the fact that 4 can only be used in light mode and not candle mode.

Ich finde natürliche Kerzen eigentlich viel schöner aber manchmal benötigt man mal was anderes. Diese sehen klasse aus und machen ein tolles Licht, der Timer und die Fernbedienung sind ein nettes Zubehör.
