Comfortable and provides great protection for my arms which have extremely thin skin. I have experienced arm skin tears just trying to turn over in bed, or barely brushing my arm on a door. I now wear these almost constantly. They are very comfortable, and actually fit my somewhat large upper arms compared with my small wrists and hands without any squeezing or gaps. Changing my original review on the color (Beige). The FIRST pair I ordered was a Light beige, and was very close to my natural pale skin tone. I wanted to order more, but Beige is no longer available. Very sad, because they fit so well compared to so many other brands I have purchased. You can wash your hands without having to remove the entire arm sleeve. Even after wearing all day, they don’t stretch out of shape. NO skin tears since wearing them! I can now walk around in my house or a store again without fear of skin tears at the slightest bump. Another advantage is the sun protection! Overall, these work well for me.

My husband’s skin is so thin and he is on 4 blood thinners that if he just brushes against something he will bruise or tear his skin. These are perfect and he wears them every day.

Well made. Soft and not too tight on my dad’s super sensitive skin. The sleeve can easily cover the back of the hand as well as arm but my dad didn’t seem to want that so he just folded it back and he said it felt fine. I had ordered him a few other brands so he could try several and compare, and he chose the Doctor’s Select because it was not tight on his arm and it felt very soft and comfortable. They now offer this product in black, so I am ordering him a second package! These sleeves may not check all the boxes for everyone as they may be a little too loose, but it is exactly what my Dad wanted so I am happy I finally found something he will wear!

Perfect for bruising

I was specifically trying to find sleeves that didn't have nylon. The description only stated a "tencel blend." I guess I assumed it was just tencel with some spandex, but nowhere did it say anything about nylon. Well, it's 50% tencel, 10% spandex, and 40% nylon. This would also explain why so many of the other reviews mention how easily they snag on everything. I'll give them credit for being soft and had it been what I wanted, it was a good fit. I just wish the product info had been more accurate.

Perfect for elderly gentleman with very thin skin just the right thickness to protect and also maintain a comfortable skin temperature. The fit is fine, not too tight, but not loose enough to slide off. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

These are comfortable, even over light bandages, and under long sleeve work shirts. They protect from the sun. They cover up excema and chronic purpera, and they don't itch. They wash up in the wash machine and air dry ok; and don't seem to draw attention when out in public. I have many pairs of these since I change them daily, and need them for both arms. The thumb opening easily moves off for hand washing. A very helpful product!

These are used on a daily basis to cover bruises from the use of aspirin by a Diabetic. No longer are the bruises visible, embarrassing the woman. They stay up, are very comfortable and are breathable. Best product.

Having tried other similar products, these compare very well, though they are a little expensive. They are soft and comfortable and do not irritate the upper arm. They will protect my fragile skin, on the backs of my hands and wrists, from scrapes and accidental small bumps and, when worn with Marigold gloves for chores round the house, they are ideal. I can wear them all day, sometimes releasing the thumb section when doing nothing, as that can irritate a tiny bit. However, they would not protect if gardening or doing other heavier work. So for that I also have some heavyweight arm protectors, like Kevlar, which are really do protect against cuts and thorns but would be cumbersome for everyday domestic use. In general I would recommend these for lightweight protection. I have not had them very long, so how they will wear over time is something I will have to find out.

Works well in a shower, keeps the plaster dry; easier to put on and off if you have someone to help you stretch the open end
