Connected seamlessly to existing Deco system and covers the whole garden. It links to the main hub via a second hub and regardless of this daisy chain the speed is only reduced from 170 Mbps to 145 Mbps which is more than enough for the bottom of the garden. Really very pleased BUT it only has an EU plug so had to set up and check it was ok using an adapter - this wasn’t clear when purchasing.

It comes with a European mains cable. Yeah - sold by Amazon in the UK without a UK plug And then it didn't work ( luckily I hadn't cut the European plug off to replace it with a 13A plug) The rest of my TP-Link Mesh kit works fine - just be careful who you buy it from

These mesh access points are great, with the additional outdoor one here, even the garden isn't off limits. Power supply only, no ethernet, but the connection and access is excellent. Only thing I had to do was reboot the mesh once this was added, after that, we're all golden

Il Deco X50-Outdoor prometteva WiFi 6 ad alte prestazioni con certificazione IP65 - perfetto per resistere a pioggia, polvere e temperature estreme tipiche degli ambienti esterni italiani. ✅ I PRO - Cosa mi ha conquistato WiFi 6 AX3000 potentissimo 🚀 Le velocità sono impressionanti: fino a 3000 Mbps combinati (574 Mbps su 2.4 GHz + 2402 Mbps su 5 GHz). Streaming 4K fluido anche in giardino, videoconferenze stabili dal gazebo e gaming online senza lag dalla dependance. La tecnologia WiFi 6 fa davvero la differenza rispetto ai vecchi standard. Resistenza IP65 certificata 💧☀️ Dopo 4 mesi di utilizzo tra piogge torrenziali, caldo estivo oltre 35°C e polvere, il dispositivo funziona perfettamente. Zero infiltrazioni d'acqua, zero problemi. Finalmente un prodotto che mantiene le promesse sulla resistenza agli agenti atmosferici. Copertura eccezionale 📡 Un singolo X50-Outdoor copre fino a 230m² - nel mio caso ha portato WiFi stabile a tutto il giardino (circa 180m²), garage e area barbecue. Il segnale penetra anche attraverso muri esterni spessi, cosa che i router tradizionali non riescono a fare. Installazione flessibile 🔧 Tre opzioni di montaggio: palo, parete o da tavolo. Io l'ho montato a parete sotto la grondaia con le staffe incluse. Installazione rapida e sicura. I materiali sono robusti e ben progettati per uso esterno. Power over Ethernet (PoE) ⚡ Geniale! Un solo cavo Ethernet porta sia dati che alimentazione. Non serve avere prese elettriche in giardino - passa tutto attraverso lo switch PoE interno. Semplifica enormemente l'installazione outdoor e riduce i cavi necessari. Integrazione perfetta con Deco Mesh 🔗 Si integra seamlessly con gli altri dispositivi Deco che ho in casa. Un'unica rete, roaming automatico, gestione centralizzata dall'app. I dispositivi passano da indoor a outdoor senza disconnessioni. Supporto 150+ dispositivi 📱 La capacità è davvero notevole. Nel mio caso gestisce circa 40 dispositivi tra casa e giardino (telecamere WiFi esterne, sensori smart, irrigazione automatica, campanello video, ecc.) senza alcun rallentamento. ⚠️ I CONTRO - Cosa considerare Prezzo premium 💰 Costa più dei modelli indoor, ma la certificazione IP65 e le prestazioni outdoor lo giustificano. Non è per chi cerca soluzioni economiche, ma per chi vuole qualità e affidabilità. Richiede switch PoE o alimentatore AC 🔌 Se vuoi usare il PoE (consigliato) devi avere uno switch compatibile. In alternativa c'è l'alimentatore AC tradizionale, ma perdi il vantaggio del cavo unico. Valuta questo costo aggiuntivo se non hai già uno switch PoE. Design funzionale ma non elegantissimo 🎨 È chiaramente progettato per funzionalità outdoor, non per estetica. Il design cilindrico bianco è discreto ma non si integra perfettamente in tutti i contesti architettonici. Però si può posizionare strategicamente. Canale HE 160 MHz limitato 📶 Supporta fino a 160 MHz di larghezza di banda, che è ottimo ma non il massimo assoluto. Per uso domestico è più che sufficiente, ma i power user potrebbero notare la limitazione in scenari estremamente esigenti. 💡 CONCLUSIONE Il TP-Link Deco X50-Outdoor ha trasformato completamente l'esperienza WiFi negli spazi esterni. Finalmente posso lavorare comodamente dal giardino, le telecamere di sicurezza hanno connessione stabile 24/7, e posso godermi streaming e smart home anche outdoor senza compromessi. La qualità costruttiva è eccellente e le prestazioni WiFi 6 sono all'altezza delle aspettative. Consigliato per: chi ha grandi giardini, piscine, terrazze, aree outdoor da coprire; proprietari di telecamere WiFi esterne, sistemi di irrigazione smart, campanelli video; professionisti che lavorano da remoto in spazi esterni; chiunque voglia estendere la propria rete mesh anche all'aperto con prestazioni premium. Voto finale: 5/5 stelle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best practice per l'installazione: Posizionalo in alto (sotto grondaia o su palo) per massimizzare copertura, usa PoE per semplificare cablaggio, orienta l'antenna verso l'area da coprire, e collega al tuo sistema Deco esistente per una rete unificata perfetta!

Der TP-Link Deco X50-Outdoor Mesh Router schien die perfekte Lösung zu sein, und ich möchte gerne meine Erfahrungen teilen. I could not get it plugged into power. The adapter did not fit to make it an AC plug. I gave up & returned it.
