This motor vibrates and creates an unacceptable and annoying loud hum.
Purchased to replace the Christmas Tree Fibre optic color color wheel rotation drive. Motor is a waste money.

Very noisy!!
That thing makes a continuous buzzing noise!! Very annoying!! Not quiet at all!! 12/19/25 Update: I was contacted by vendor who offered a full refund. Nice but I still wish their motor was really silent as anyway it's the only one I could find fitting in the space there is to replace the one which broke.

inexpensive and easy to install.
This little motor will get a bit noisy after a few years of Christmas use, but they are inexpensive and very easy to replace. I suggest buying an extra one for a backup. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

12 volt gear motor
the motor worked fine for about 3 weeks and then started making so much noise that I had to turn it off, had to buy new one on Ebay from a different seller, and they work fine , no noise

Motor would not start.

Motor is noisy, makes a buzzing noise when running, far louder than what it is replacing. Motor is advertised as DC, but motor is actually AC with a mini DC -> AC inverter included in the package that has to be wired in when using a DC power supply. Why label a motor and show pictures of it as DC when it is AC?
