Does this come with a charger?

This product doesn't come with a charger, you use the original cable which comes with the Nest Thermostat.

How does this work when it's not plugged into the houses eletrical systam?

This is just a stand... Just a piece of plastic but the thermostat it holds needs to be plugged into it's charger. Mine connects to the boiler wirelessly but it can be hardwired (possibly without need for charger?). I would download the instructions for the thermostat.

Is this suitable for nest thermostat display model 2.12 and back plate model 3.2?
