I have a 4 & 5 year old, we purchased 2 of the kits and additional matching water bottles. I love the size of the box, it fit 4 slices of pizza and the sauce, the compartments are very deep unlike some of the other bento style boxes I’ve seen. The top plate that seals the box is very easy to open both kids do it no problem. The thermos is a little harder for them to open. The utensils are not thin plastic they are good quality. We haven’t had any issues with leaking, my kids will also occasionally forget to put the sealing plate back on, the food will combine but I haven’t had it leak into the actual lunch bag. I’m haven’t not used it in a dish washer only hand washing so I can’t comment how it would hold up with that. The box is very light both kids can manage carrying their own. The zippers are not stiff, easy for kids to open. I pack my kids lunches around 6-6:30 am and they don’t eat until 12, I did mini corn dogs in the thermos and my kids said they were still warm. It is very easy to clean. The main compartment removes from the box for easier cleaning. I was very excited to find this item, you get everything needed for a great price not to mention great quality. It is a relatively new product with only a few reviews so I thought I’d go a little more in depth to help the next person out! I did not picture the ice pack but it does come with one.

This lunch box set is fantastic—well-designed, durable, and packed with everything a child needs for school meals. The compartments are practical, the thermos keeps food warm, and the insulated bag is sturdy and stylish. However, the full set weighs around 1.5 kg (3.3 lb), which can be quite heavy for younger children to carry comfortably. For that reason, I recommend it for kids aged 9 and up. It’s a great choice for older children who need a reliable, all-in-one lunch solution.

UPDATE 11/10/23: still going strong! Nuances- My kid lost the pink removable holder for the utensils and the small triangle flap for the condiment cup lid. I reached out to seller for a replacement and they said they’d send it but that was about a month or so ago, I don’t think they’ll be sending it. Had to put tape on each side of the lid to cover the holes and can’t put liquid in it anymore. Otherwise, everything is still working as it should and we are still happy with the purchase! It’s just a little on the heavier side for smaller kids, but still pretty easy to carry short distances like from the bus to class & then cafeteria. 7x7 bento is prefect for portion sizes & the thermos is great for Mac & cheese, pasta, chicken nugs. my 5 year old said her thermos food is still warm enough to eat at lunch (11am). The plastic ware is good quality. My daughter has no issue opening the bento or condiment cup & only asks for help with the thermos. It is proven to be leak proof in our case as you can see! I ensure the air hole flaps are open while pressing down on the lid for the insert & then pressing the flaps closed once all air is out. Ive also had success in packing her cold lunch the night before and taking it out the fridge to put in the lunch bag in the morning. Nothing is soggy! Due to the weight of the bag when all pieces are in it, we’ve mixed & matched to make it just a little lighter. (Ex:) Cold lunch only with ice pack & a small juice on the side, or thermos with a lightly packed bento & small juice in the book bag instead. I’ve only hand washed and don’t plan on using in the dishwasher. I separate the silicone seals from the lids and wash them each night or every other night. I hand dry immediately to help avoid any mold growth. So glad I picked this and it’s still working very well for us after 3 weeks 😊

Great for our first lunchbox for preschool! Easy for little hands to open, really like the design and the lunchbox goes in the washer well! The thermos doesn't stay hot to long. Great combo pack for those starting to take lunch for school.

We LOVE this lunch box set (although I feel it important to note, the vents for the box and sauce container need to be open when you are closing the lids, and then closed or the containers do not seal properly. All the pieces are adorable, they seal well (if closed properly), and the thermos hold its temperature. The ONLY complaint I have was the poor quality of zipper. As a kids lunch box, you would expect a zipper that is at least semi sturdy. It has been 2.5 months of school and both of the zippers have SPLIT. Not came off, not having an issue with the teeth, the actual zipper pulls have fallen apart leaving me unable to fix them and rendering the carry bag of the lunchbox useless. The rest of it's great though! Will upload a photo when I get home

I love these!! We've only tested them out once, but no leaks after school so far! My kids, ages 11, 10 and 7, all found these easy to use. And I forgot the cold packs, and they said their lunches still stayed cold. So thats good! 😅 They are the perfect size for kids with big appetites like my 4! And I can see lots of different items fitting in the dividers easily. They are also absolutely adorable! My kids love them, and I love the bright colors that they are made with! Its a fun lunchbox and bag, and way less expensive them some other brands! That counts A LOT when you have 4 kiddos!
