If it's made by american bees, why does the description say "imported from brazil?" do the american bees live in brazil?

Play on words is what companies do. There's an olive oil grower, USA, that makes an American Blend. In fine print it discloses 50% California grown, and 50% Brazilian & Peru. It is an American blend.... from North AND South America. The same with this honey company's description... it is made by American bees... South American. Marketing keeps us on our toes. ;-)

Is this honey pasteurized?

Not sure but it is definitely filtered. Unfiltered honey has pollen and bits of propolis visibly in it and is thick, not liquidy like this. The bits are very good for you and those with allergies but some don't like it. I feel the thick honey is more authentic like bee and flower or wee bee honey. This company is also not eco friendly using plastic when nearly all good brands use glass

Is this made in the USA from USA bees?

In fine print under the back label, it says product of USA and Brazil. The honey is from Brazil, it is then packaged and distributed in Texas (USA). I purchased this exact item in Target 1/3/2023 and it cost me $23.00. The fact that they chose to hide “product of Brazil” under the bottle, where most people will never see it, is Sus. Like why not just print it on that bright orange label? Nothing against Brazil, just shady marketing, I obviously got ripped off at Target but I really needed it as I was coming down with a cold and it was the only kind they had stocked. Not doing that again. :)
