General Tools 478 Triangular Scraper

Works like a charm and is a high quality triangular deburring tool. The standard deburring tool provides faster results but this hollow triangular deburring tool add a bi-directional capability as well as a refined edge and burnish. There’s a learning curve but it’s well worth it. The quality is excellent and if you’re a person who loves tools, it looks excellent and important. Packaging was well-done and quickly shipping and received.

Burr knives are not readily available these days because there are other high-tech options out there. I've been in machining for a good part of my life. I've always preferred this. It is easily sharpened on a belt sander. This one is top notch.

This product came dirty like this just a little disappointing that they shipped like this but the product work like it should.

I purchased this tool to modify the thumb hole of my bowling balls. It worked perfectly allowing me to modify the thumb holes because going to the pro shop to have it done is a lilttle bit of a inconvenience. Having this tool allows me to take my time in order to achieve the perfect fit I am looking for.

It scrapes. It is sharp! Your coworkers will try to steal it, mine is long gone.

Nice tool. Very hard steel that is great for deburring metals and such chores as removing blemishes from woodworker's hand planes and surprisingly I've learned, woodworking. I've used this more lately to scrape wood before and after finishing than for restoring vintage tools. Overall a very handy tool for a machinist, mechanic or a woodworker. The wood handle is rather nice for a tool in this price range but the finish on it left a lot to be desired. It was full of abrasive feeling bubbles and very rough. I had to sand most of the clear off to make it comfortable.

Sharp blade. But handle isn't the nicest quality, label halfway gone after two uses Update: Blade dulls easy. I sharpen before each use

this tri-corner scraper has a 4.5" blade and is an essential tool for any machinist.

This scraper is a must have if you do ANY mechanical work that requires deburring etc. tough steel knives, three edges, perfect machinists tool to touch things up. If your a machinist, you know what I mean.

Excellent quality and sharpness. I use this primarily for scraping out small solder joints on musical instrument repairs.
