Heavy Duty Wooden 2 Seater Garden Bench - FSC Hardwood

Having read some negative reviews on this product, I was nervous about ordering it, but I liked the picture of it as it looked exactly what I wanted. I'm so glad to be able to say that it is JUST what I was looking for and as it is advertised. It arrived in good time (about 5 days from order), was very easily assembled and is just what I had wanted. Good sturdy quality and excellent value. I am delighted!

For use on the patio. Very comfy with a garden cushion on.

Very disappointed with this bench. The wood used is of poor quality and the drollrod holes are too big for the rods. To make them stable I had to use wood glue. I purchased this item about 6 months ago and I have only assembled it today (19th March 2018). If I had realised the item was of such poor quality I would have returned it. My advice - DON’T PURCHASE THIS ITEM!

Overall I was disappointed with the quality and finish of this product. Staining was very uneven, I have had to put a futher 2 coats plus varnish to be sure it's waterproof. The metal fixings were ok, but what are those silly dowels doing there, they don't even fit the pre-cut holes, would rather have more metal screws or bolts. This really is no better than others that are at least 25 to 30% cheaper. Sorry you won't be seeing me again.

Very disappointed, I chose this bench because the picture shows an exact copy of the one I have in my garden, that's what I thought I was getting. What I received, doesn't even look the same, very poor quality, the back slatted section, fits right down to the seat, there is no space, it's not angled, it's upright. There are screw holes in the seat base, but no screws supplied to fit it, but, you couldn't anyway, as the base is smaller than the side struts. Didn't realise it was different until I had screwed it all together.
