Poor quality overall
The hood was heavier than most and wide for its design. I bought it hoping to fit into tighter spots that would be difficult for my larger hood but turned out to be more bulky than my previous hood. It has casting seems all over it and defects on the hood shell. Also the hard hat clips broke the second day of use. Bad hood, bad lens, bad clips, bad buy.

Can not use an auto-darkening lens
The flip-up front which holds the #10 lens that is supplied with the helmet will not accept an auto-darkening lens. The slot which you put the clear plastic front shield and then the shaded lens in is not wide enough to put an auto-darkening lens in. It is difficult to file this slot wider. If you intend to use an auto-darkening lens you should look for a different helmet.

Head gear to fit hard hat was included
Came with a shade 10 lens and everything needed for use with 4.25 shades

Bad design
The slot is to skinny so you cant change to a auto darkening lens.

Great quality
This is a nice hood to use for your hard hat. Fits great and works great.

Can’t wait to get welding
Haven’t quite gotten the hang of welding just yet, but this protective gear is lightweight and easy to use. Do wish a strap came with it…

Good shield
Very good good and light weight, but I couldn’t use my auto lens because the slot was too small for it to fit, that’s the problem with it for me.

Way to heavy
Got it and it looks nice but it's way to heavy for my liking and can't fit a auto lens in. Shipping it back
