Binding 13 : Walsh, Chloe: desertcart.in: Books Review: Good quality - Original book and good quality Review: The Book That Made Me Fall in Love With Romance!! - I don’t even know how to start this without screaming. But let me say this first. I didn’t find this book, it found me and that too at the right time!!!! Okay so I went into it thinking, “Let’s give romance another chance, since I’m like, least into this genre” and then BAM!! I devoured Binding 13 like my life depended on it. I devoured it like I was starving for this story. ──────୨ ꜱʏɴᴏᴘꜱɪꜱ ᴀʜᴇᴀᴅ ৎ────── #1 Book of “Boys of Tommen” series. Shannon Lynch is the quiet, invisible girl who’s used to being overlooked or worse, tormented. Her life has been shaped by hardship, bullying, and the kind of trauma that makes survival her only goal. When she transfers to a new school, all she wants is to blend in and finally find some peace. But her world shifts when she crosses paths with Johnny Kavanagh! The golden boy of the school, a rising rugby star who seems untouchable. Johnny is everything Shannon isn’t: confident, popular, adored. Yet, when their worlds collide, an unlikely connection sparks between them. What begins as small, fragile moments of kindness slowly grows into something deeper, something life-changing, something profound. This book is about trauma, bullying, friendship, family, healing, and then layered over all of that is the most gut-wrenching, butterflies-in-your-stomach kind of love. I adored Shannon so much!! Watching her slowly come out of her shell broke me and healed me at the same time. And Johnny? Whew. He’s not just the hot sports guy, that teen boy got depth, loyalty, humor, and he treats Shannon with so much gentleness it makes your chest ache. ──────────────────── And about the length: this book is over 800 pages, but let me tell you not once did it feel long. If anything, I craved more. I wanted to stay in their world, in their moments, in every heartbeat of this story. Binding 13 pulled me into an entire genre I didn’t think I cared about. This was the book that made me realize romance can hit just as hard, if not harder, than the genres I usually cling to. A legit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read!!!!

My heart broke in end🤧
Johnny kavanagh is a rugby player,His game is everything to him untill he met & knocked out “Shannon the River”💗. I thought this is going to be one of those typical high school romance book with spice but I was wrong this connect me with the deepest level with my heart. There is no spice guys it is filled with emotions which will wreck you on great level😔. At the beginning like others I was not ready give my time to the book because of the number of pages, but trust me you won’t even notice time & pages once you dive into boys of tommen world.I don’t want to give up spoiler but Johnny & Shannon you gonna stay in my heart forever never going to forget you guys,Shannon you are loved by us & by Johnny.i have never cried so much while reading like I did while reading this book. Johnny is 17 year old but the way he treated Shannon & the way he wanted to protect her without even knowing about his feelings or without even knowing about her makes him a true gentleman, boy in age but Gentleman by character ,I love him so so much & I love the way he say “Shannon like the river”😭. Guys he made a playlist on his ipod with her name filled with love songs🎀how cute is that😭😭😭. Oh God his accent🤌🏻🫠. I loved the banter between gibsie & claire 💗. Joey you deserve the world I can’t wait to read your book, everyone deserve a brother you💗. Sometimes some parents forget that their children never asked them to come it was their choice to bring us.Shannon you din deserved any of the stuff happened to you ,nobody deserve such things.Shannon has my heart,my heart cried for her loud & clear ,she’s a keeper.you are not responsible for the behaviour of people around you & the people should be ashamed to blame other people on their behaviour.

This boo hit me with truckload of emotions. I just couldn’t put it down. Just read it pls
4.5 stars! An avalanche of emotions - this book hit me with a truckload of them. I couldn’t put it down for the life of me. Angels and devils, humans and monsters, love and hatred, fear and courage, friendship and jealousy, cruelty and hope - this book had everything. On one side, you cringe at the abuse Shannon suffered at the hands of her father and bullies at school; on the other, there are people like Johnny, Gibsie, Johnny’s parents, and Shannon’s best friends who restore your faith in humanity. This book should have hit me hard, devastated me, and broken me, but it didn’t - thanks to the wonderfully amazing characters. It made me rage, it made me happy, it made me sad, it made me laugh, and it made me scared. Scared of human beings, who somehow always end up being worse than monsters. My heart simply and utterly broke for Shannon. But it also beat for Johnny - for the amazing person he was. Just the kind of person Shannon needed in her life, who truly cared for her, loved her, and treated her the way she deserved to be treated. Joey, Christy, Gibsie - all were absolutely amazing, the kind of people you want, you need in your life.♥ I could go on and on, but saying it simply - you just have to read it. ( Do check out trigger warnings)

The *Boys of Tommen* series is everything I want in a romance and then some. Emotional, addictive, beautifully written, and completely unforgettable. From the very first book, I was pulled into the world of Tommen College and didn’t want to leave. These characters feel *real*—flawed, vulnerable, and deeply human. The friendships, the family dynamics, the love stories, and the personal struggles are written with so much care and intensity that it’s impossible not to get attached. The romances are slow-burn, heartfelt, and emotionally raw, with chemistry that leaps off the page. What truly sets this series apart is the emotional depth. It doesn’t shy away from heavy topics, and it handles them with honesty and sensitivity. I laughed, cried, and had to put the book down multiple times just to breathe. The writing is immersive and powerful, making you feel every high and every heartbreak right alongside the characters. If you love character-driven romance, found family, emotional storytelling, and books that stay with you long after you finish, this series is a must-read. The *Boys of Tommen* has officially earned a permanent place on my favorites shelf, and I will recommend it every chance I get.

I just spent the last 10h reading it in one sitting and now I’m wrecked. Sure, plenty of cliché stuff but the pining! God the pining in this book made scream and giggle like a lunatic. Everyone was saying this is good, but this beyond good. It’s “you-will-inhale-it-like-a-drug-addict” good. It had no business sucking me in like it did. It’s hands down the best sports romance I’ve read (I’m sorry Elle Kennedy, I’ve betrayed my hockey origins), and a great romance altogether. The characters? Felt like real people with real struggles, with real emotions and relationships, not that cheap, shallow stuff you get half the time. I’ll be, in fact, pulling an all nighter to read book 2!!!

Comparse comprese.
