This completes my pellet smoker. Much better than the smoking tubes I tried. Gives the closest results to a stick smoker. Excellent smoke flavor.

I love to cook out on my pellet smoker/grill and if you like the REAL smoke taste get you one of these Flip Smoker Boxes. The Cameron Flip Box is easy to use and you can place your favorite pellets/wood chunks (small) into the box and light it up. It will provide the great smoke taste if you use your fancy pellet grill or if you prefer use it on your propane grill to add that wood flavor to what ever you are cooking. The Flip can also be used to cold smoke your favorite foods. The box is made of quality material and is sturdy. If you own a pellet grill this is a must have to add to the smoke taste to your food. Perfect for smoking meats! Much better flavor.

Used this to make smoked spatchcock chicken. Didn't put the lid on ALL the way down as I knew metal SWELLS up when it gets hot. Well, that backfired on me. The lid STILL didn't come off so I could refill it. When you are doing a LONG smoking (I was doing a 3 hour session for this chicken) you do need to refill your smoke chips. The lid does NOT budge until it is completely cooled down. Ended up using a pin tin for the rest of this cook. Note: I had HALF my chips soaked & half dry......I wanted a lot of smoke & no flare up. Even doing that & NOT having this smoke box over a burner that was on, it lasted only 30 min and the box was FILLED. IF you are doing a quick grilling and want that smoke flavor, this is perfect! IF how ever you are doing a LOW & SLOW smoked BBQ, this is not the way to go.

I like it because it has more holes then the others thats why it'll burn cleaner. More oxygen cleaner burn and you got a choice leave it on the rack or put it on its stand

This is worth the money! I have been smoking for over 10 years. Recently I started using a large pellet smoker. I have struggled to get smoke flavor into my meat. I used this for the first time with some wood chunks and it worked fabulously. I highly recommend!

Works great to provide additional smoke in a pellet grill.

I have other smoker boxes that work good, but this one allows for so much reversibility. It has more volume than other boxes which allows you to put about 3 bricks of charcoal in it, light them and add the wood chips on top. You can also use it with or without the stand so you can use the BBQ flame to ignite it. I put an aluminum pie plate under it and ignite with fire starters, the plate keeps all the ashes from dropping into the bottom of your grill. Overall a great product for the price, if I found this first I would not buy any others.
