Pedalling for Organists Paperback

Having trawled around the standard fare in so-called "top" London music shops, only to conclude that it was all over-priced and bog-standard, I committed to this purchase via Amazon with low expectations, being primarily swayed by the very positive reviews of it posted on the website. Having subsequently browsed through the book, it has been a very pleasant surprise, and I fully concur with those reviews. Specifically: pedalling technique is covered comprehensively for all levels from beginners to advanced players; there are several photographs to flesh out and illustrate the text, and a very wide number of pedalling exercises and exampled all culled from pieces of the staple classical organ repertoire. I am very pleased with my purchase, regard it as excellent value for money, and will be recommending it to friends and acquaintances. It is written by a "pro", with a level of clarity and passion (for want of a better word) that is way better than the average.
