Great sponge!
Very nice sponge for really smoothing clay surfaces. I purchased a couple because they are pretty thin, but that helps achieve more flexibility.

Great product, just make sure you are buying the one you need.
I really like this sponge (though I recently misplaced mine). Just make sure that the sponge you are buying will do what you expect it to do! I had thought this was a finishing sponge, though it is very obviously not labeled as such. If you are looking for a fine finishing sponge, I believe it is the white one. They are great quality, though a bit pricey. Especially if you are like me and working in a community space and tend to lose things!

Go on ahead and get you one... these half inch thick, bean shaped blue sponges are awesome for working with your hands or on the wheel. Fits perfectly into your hand, Super absorbent, soft, yet very tough and durable. They'll absolutely last for years if you take care of them. Well worth the price!

As soon as I started using this I realised it was a game changer. It’s just a sponge right… but the shape and texture makes pulling up and finishing or removing excess water / clay so much easier. Also, just flattening the bottom of a pot is a breeze. Expensive but so worth it in the sale!

Der Schwamm ist der Hammer, da gibt es nix. Sozusagen eine Offenbarung. Der Preis ist trotzdem unverschämt, daher bloss 4 Sterne.

Ich besitze bereits mehrere mudtools und hatte zwei identische Schwämme bestellt. Die beiden waren völlig verschieden groß und dick und einer weiß und einer deutlich kleiner und gelblich-grau. Beide von der Größe her anders als jene die ich bereits benutze. Ging zurück. Hoffe Erstattung wird problemlos.

It works great for finishing my pieces but it isn't lasting very long. I belive I have used it in 3 or 4 pottery classes. Our clay has very little grog. It's very smooth. Maybe I just got a dud? But otherwise it's really great.
