Skinner's Field & Trial Complete Dry Adult Working Dog Food Chicken and Rice, 2.5 kg

My dog has a sensitive stomach, and suffers from pancreatitis, so a low fat and healthy food is necessary for her. Skinners has always been a good purchase for her because it's mostly just chicken and brown rice, with the rest of it being natural stuff that isn't harmful to dogs. No additives. No colourings. Nothing that gets her hyper or irritates her stomach. The price is unbeatable for 15KG bag (two months of food).

Product always delivers on time. My 2 black labs love it and find the quantity and quality useful. I find it smells good and good quality ingredients. Overall great value for money and the dogs love it so clearly good eatability!

I purchased this dog food as an alternative for my dogs regular food. She tends to get bored of a food after a few months and then we need to swap for a while. She has both beef and wheat allergies though so our choices are more limited but this Skinners Field and Trial food with its hypoallergenic, single chicken protein source and wheat free recipe seemed ideal. The bag it comes in is not resealable so I empty it into an airtight container and store in there to keep it fresher for longer. There's a very light aroma when you open the bag but it's not unpleasant. The kibble pieces are shaped like extra large grains of rice and like most kibble they're hard and crunchy and help with dental health. Each kibble piece is roughly onky 1.3cm long so they're suitable for all sizes of dog, which is great if you have a multi dog household with different breeds as they can all be fed the same food. The ingredients are good. I usually prefer a food with a slightly higher meat content although this content is decent for a dry food. I like that it contains brown rice instead of white as although the food is quite high in carbs, being brown rice, it is slow release energy and does not cause the same blood sugar spikes as white rice. Something which we have had issues with in the past as that seemed to cause episodes of hyperactivity in our dog. I've not tasted it obviously, but my dog seems to approve and enjoy it so that's good enough for me. If she likes it, I'm happy. At the current price this Skinners Field And Trial food is excellent value for money. Especially since being made with good ingredients means the daily serving suggestion is lower than some other lesser quality kibbles meaning you end up feeding a smaller amount so it actually lasts longer. It's certainly one of the better foods we've tried and at a great price too. My dog is doing fine on it with no tummy upsets or sloppy deposits so I'm more than happy to stick with this until my dog fancies a change again.

Would only feed my dog skinners food, and this is a great price.

Das Futter ist ein guter Ersatz zu Frischfleisch, was sonst die erste Wahl gewesen wäre. Auch beim Wechsel von Frisch auf Trocken hatten unsere Hunde keine Probleme. Preis - Leistung sehr gut. Wir kommen mit diesem Futter ( + gekochtem Gemüse und Reis Flocken) bei zwei 20 kg Hunden an die 1.5 Monate mit einem Sack aus.
