Perfect for Post-Workout Recovery โ A Game Changer!
The Hyperice Hypervolt Go 2 is absolutely amazing and has become a must-have in my fitness routine. After long, intense workouts, this handheld percussion massage gun works wonders on all my sore spots. Its Quiet Glide Technology makes it surprisingly quiet, so I can use it anytime without disturbing others. The three-speed settings are fantastic for customizing the intensity, and the two interchangeable heads make it easy to target different muscle groups. Itโs compact and lightweight, making it super convenient to carry around, whether Iโm at the gym, home, or traveling. What really stands out is how effective it is โ within minutes, my muscles feel relaxed, and any tension or soreness melts away. The battery life is impressive, too, lasting multiple sessions before needing a recharge. If youโre serious about recovery or just looking for relief from muscle soreness, the Hypervolt Go 2 is worth every penny. I canโt recommend it enough!

An indispensable massage tool and adjunct to Physical Therapy
I am a triathlete and musician. This unit was recommended by my physical therapist who has 30+ years of experience. They used it on me for one session and almost immediately afterwards it loosened up stubborn muscular areas. As such areas tend to return to their original (tight/spasm) state, having my own unit to use in between weekly PT has increased and maintained increased ROM (range of motion) I achieved during our sessions. The price point is reasonable given the potential benefits you can gain. Suggestions: Before using this device , I recommend you go to a good PT for an evaluation of your areas of concern. Bring the charged unit with you so they can demonstrate its SAFE USE. This is a serious and powerful tool and you can easily hurt yourself if you have no prior medical experience. Especially be careful on any tendons such as rotator cuff, ITB and knee ligaments like ACL/MCL. I use it on ALTERNATE DAYS, only 5 minutes per area. A brief icing session immediately afterwards is a good idea. You may be "good sore" the day after, hence a wise move to lay off the following day to allow the tissues to recover. I use ONLY THE LOWEST SPEED (one dot appears). My PT does not recommend using medium or fast speed. You can apply some light pressure to stabilize and control the movement, but there's no need to dig in very hard. Battery: The initial battery charge takes a few hours (flashing green will become standing green ring near bottom of handle). The battery life is excellent if you shut the unit off when not in use. USB charger cable is fine but you need your own AC plug with a USB female at the other end (typical iPhone accessory). It is very well-made, a bit heavy but a nice long grip. It comes with two attachments. Be sure they are securely inserted before use: 1) a rounded surface circular shape for larger muscle areas- work in a circular motion 2) a bullet shape for more targeted, narrow areas- such as the latissimus dorsi (lats). Here you focus the attachment in the center of the muscle width, moving slowly along its length in small back and forth segments. You can also try doing stationary pressure points before each segment, but don't dig in too hard. Again, I advise not to self-treat until a professional PT or PA demonstrates its proper use on the area(s) which require attention.

A fine product.
I had an old Hypervolt, I thought I would upgrade. I like the size and it is a bit more streamlined. The old one had more power and a bit more fluid a motion. The old one is more solid build, new one has some parts I think should be a bit heavier. New one is a bit louder, having to do with the less fluid mechanism somehow. I appreciate them both as excellent products.

Falls apart after a few months of use
Check out purchase date and review date for most of those reviews, and go check the ones that are made 6 months after purchase - You will notice a bunch of customers posting pictures of the part that connects the gun to the massage pad being broken. This is normal wear and tear, happens even if you are extra careful and seems to be a manufacturing issue with this model. Customer support does not replace parts nor offers warranty. While they say on this page that it comes with 1 year warranty, this is what is on their website: "This warranty excludes: Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage Products/accessories are not used in accordance with the user manual Products are misused or modified in any way Products repaired by the user or anyone other than an authorized service representative of Hyperice/Normatec Products that are dropped or damaged due to user error Use of unauthorized non-Hyperice Charger Damage caused by accident, abuse, mishandling, or transport Damage exceeding the cost of the product Failure to provide the dated proof of purchase and serial number on your device Units not used in accordance with Hyperice care instructions Deterioration of the delivered product resulting from abnormal storage and/or safeguarding conditions on the clientโs premises Products purchased from an unauthorized retailer. Units taken out of the US" AKA, if you use this for over 6 months it will break and you are out of luck. Much better off buying those $30 knock-offs. Do not recommend this at all and will not purchase Hyperice products ever again.

Powerful, easy to use, & great value
It's powerful, reasonably quiet considering its strength, and easy to use. There is one button to rule them all. Press and hold the button, and a green light around the handle turns on. Hit the button once, twice, or three times for Levels 1, 2, or 3. One more turns it off. It's also reasonably lightweight. It also has two tips, one of them a broader rubber head, and another one that is a smaller head for getting at knots. Either one works well, and probably covers just about all you'd need for percussion-style massage. Oh, and yes, of course you want to know about how it massages. Fantastic. It's powerful, really powerful, so not everyone's going to like it, but it works deep to unknot muscles. It also lasts up to three hours, so you don't have to keep charging it over and over. I personally love the deeper massage, so within ten seconds, I already was sure that I would want to keep using this. Also, for $127, it seems like a strong value. How did I hear about this? The OT was using it during my session since I have lateral epicondylitis in both elbows. I immediately liked it, and inquired about it. Turns out that he has one he uses at home as well. Definitely recommended.

Donโt buy cheaper alternatives
This is so much value for money. I bought a cheap version for a tenth of the price. It lasted a week. This product will last years. Itโs so well made and the movement is so much better. But you will not be disappointed with quality. Function on the other hand is also where this product excels. Absolutely necessary for anyone training more than 4 times a week.
