I bought this for 13 year old nephew for Christmas, but my toddler and husband are so I'm love with it that it looks like it will remain with us. Haha. The robot moves really well on all surfaces (including our carpet!). I like that it has an adjustable volume control on its remote, to make the repetitive noises quieter as my toddler presses the same buttons over and over haha. He talks, sings a few songs and dances around. The product says 6 and older I think, but honestly my 2 year old is really enjoying it. I was able to get a short clip of him playing with it, before he ran off to hide with him, because he didn't want share! I think this product is a great buy and a unique toy robot.

I have very mixed feelings, regarding this Dancing Robot, so let me just walk you through my experience. The packaging is attractive and suitable for gift giving. Plus, you don't need the jaws-of-life to get him out of the box. The robot is well-made, well-balanced, and constructed out of durable hard plastic. The remote is a little cheaper made, but still quite functional. The directions will definitely have you scratching your head, as they are a very poor translation. Most of the instructions, made little to no sense, at all. So, you're pretty much on your own trying to figure out the remote, and what this guy will do. The manufacture's recommended age for this robot is 6+ years. Though, the songs and music may be appropriate for a 5-6 year old, the remote and hand gesture commands are a little too complicated, for this age bracket. As far as operating the robot, I would recommend it for someone closer to the 8-10 year old age bracket. Although, at this age, the music and songs may seem too immature. I feel this is just an average toy, that most kids will grow tired of fairly easily. Keeping all this in mind, I feel 3 stars is all that if befitting for this toy.

This is for my four-year-old son for Christmas I must say he will love this it helps kids learn science and build habit. The remote control takes two AA batteries which the remote control also has numerous a different buttons to control it. It is waste of money. My son only used it for 3 weeks and stoped working or charging.

My kid likes it for now, but it is losing it's appeal QUICK since the darn thing won't stay upright. Falls over constantly. Even on the flattest of surfaces. The Robot is not weighted properly. Also, when pressing the controls, the Robot only moves a few inches. I figured if you press and hold the control, the Robot would continue to move...but no. So you have to keep pushing the control buttons. Real Annoying. And a "joy-stick" style controller would have been easier. Lots of control buttons, but most are just duplicates of each other. It was a B-Day gift and she's good with it now, but I give it a month or two until she's done being annoyed with it. UPDATE: It's just not worth the hassle or the frustration of it falling over all the time...

My 4.5 year old son loves this robot! It talks, plays different music and dances.

Got this for my grandson. He loves it. He is having so much fun. He even laughs while playing with it. The remote control is easy to use.
