If you buy a new 40mm LNB to replace your SKY LNB on the dish, you will need one of these. The SKY LNB is smaller in diameter and thus something like an Opticom LNB won't fit. it mounts on the dish on the same points so no problem there and it holds the 40mm LNB very securely. Good bit of kit for cheap price.

Easy to fit - done by a female . Good if you have someone watching to report signal strength through the window- perfectionist. Go to Services on old sky HD+ remote -select signal. Only one cable required from sky Q cabling to dish and box.

I've only given this a 3 star rating as it doesn't quite meet up to my expectations, the original bracket had ridges on the inside that acted as a ratchet type effect against the LNB, but this is smooth on the inside and was of a much larger diameter, I had to use double sided foam pads to fill the gap, once I did that the bracket was fine.

It did not come with the spirit level as advertised

Ordered this bracket to convert our Sky dish to accept a new twin LNB, it arrived in good time , only two very slight problems, one, no spirit level came with it , no big deal and the arm on our dish was slightly bigger than the mounting part of the bracket which I overcame by "adjusting" the size of the arm, again, no problem. I telephoned the company for some information regarding the alignment of the LNB and the angle for the polarisation of the unit and spent at least 1/2 hr talking to the guy who was extremely helpful. It made a nice change to speak to somebody who took the time to talk me through it !!! This is a very good company and would recomend them to anybody, full marks guys !! My bracket got damaged by a workman hitting it with a ladder so thought it would be an easy fix to replace just the bracket. However, although the bracket fitted the dish arm perfectly, the LNB was a loose fit in the clamp. I managed to get it to fit by wrapping insulation tape around the LNB several times to make a tight fit. I checked the signal afterwards and it was perfect so it seems that was an OK bodge! It would be better if the bracket came with different spacers to accomodate different diameter LNB's.
