The title says mini ( that should be reference to the pellet size) but the bag in the photo says large pellets. can someone please tell me which?

I would say the BB pellets is a good size to compare them too. My cichlids are fairly large (say 6 to 8 inches long) but I like this size for them as they can grab a couple at a time if they like.

Is this product ok for goldfish / koi ? Previous owner used it solely .

Cichlid only. I suggest you get something else specifically for koi or goldfish.
