This stuff is amazing!! The adhesives amazing! I have never seen anything stick like this stuff does! It sticks to my industrial scissors. Sticks to the counter and everything on the counter it gently touches. I removed it from the glass to do another strip. It came off so hard I was worried it would pull the glass out! This put "command strips" to shame! It's very thick and does a great job stopping the scratching animals. Both of them!! It left imprints in the old film i pulled off. I realize there's alot of bubbles, and not a very good job. But it's very hard to work with!

I love this product! I have a cat and she was destroying my face facings ! I was very upset. So I painted them, and then applied this. Super easy to apply, I have had to pull some off and it took off a little paint...not much. The photo shows a door I put it over after she had started destroying again. She won't even touch the door facings with this on it, keeps her away completely.

[Easy installation] - It's very easy to install Cat Furniture Protectors. just measure Peel off the self-adhesive pad, aim a place, stick the pad where you want to protect. Very easy, no complex steps nor tools. There was no backing to the adhesive pad, which is a giant pain when cutting to length. I added pictures to show the lack of any backing material, as well as the instructions that make it plain that it should be there. I tested this on a door frame that is painted, and I left it on there for maybe thirty seconds. It ripped paint right off the frame, as shown in the pictures. I am glad I tested it before getting too excited. I am very disappointed in this product, and I hope other people are wary when buying from this company in the future. If you have unpainted surfaces to apply this to, then the slippery outer shell will probably do the trick for you. On the other hand, I personally would not trust this on anything painted or made of fabric. Overall, just another waste of time and effort.

This was very easy to apply. It is very sticky, so be careful not to let it fold onto itself. I am in a wheelchair and I was tearing up the bottom of my doors. I think this will make a huge difference.

PROS: Product is relatively easy to apply and very strong once in place. Adhesive is weapons-grade. Think of it as permanent, with a half-life of thousands of years. CONS: Nearly impossible to remove. Adhesive is so strong that the slick top layer will delaminate when you try to pull it off and the rest will stick to the surface you’ve applied it to. That remaining adhesive is very hard to remove, especially without destroying what’s underneath. One potential hack: burn your entire house down and start over. That will get rid of it.

Recommended by our painter after he refinished our doors. Our 2 Australian Shepherds had done a job on our doors from either scratching them or slobbering on them over the years. These went on very easy and are totally invisible. I'd share a pic, but you can't see the door protector. Don't think we'll have to repaint the doors because of the dogs for many years to come.

With my high anxiety dog it lasted a day a on the door. I took time to install it correctly and make it look decent, but my dog clawed off a good portion of it within a few hours. Honestly it could have been because the door is very old and needs to be sanded. On the floor it lasted about 3 days. It did last a good long time on the door frame though. And while it lasted on anything my dog couldn't scratch through it.
