Low mess and great for toddler to learn scissor skills
This scissors skills activity book has been a really great learning tool for my almost 3-year-old. I bought it to help him start practicing how to use scissors, and overall I’m very happy with it.One of my favorite features is the included accessories. The book comes with child-friendly safety scissors that are not sharp, plus glue, so you have what you need to start the activities right away. The variety is excellent because each page offers something new. It’s not just cutting practice—you may cut, fold, glue, or create different little projects, which keeps kids interested and entertained. The material. of the pages is thick paper style- sturdy enough for activities and repeated handling without tearing too easily. In terms of messiness, it’s actually not very messy compared to many toddler crafts. Each page simply turns into an activity or project, so cleanup is usually quick and simple. For value for money, I think it’s good. You get many pages, different skill levels, and plenty of activities in one book, along with the included tools. We already finished the straight-line pages and moved on to the wavy lines, which are a bit harder for him right now. He’s not quite ready for that level yet, so we’re taking a break until he builds more confidence.

Total lifesaver—and my toddler’s hair is safe!
I bought this for my 2-year-old, and it has easily become one of the best activity sets we own. She absolutely loves working through all the cutting activities included, and it genuinely keeps her focused and busy for a solid hour or two at a time (which feels like a miracle at this age).My absolute favorite feature, without question, is the safety scissors. They only cut paper. They don't cut skin, clothes, furniture, or—most importantly—her hair! It gives me total peace of mind to let her practice her fine motor skills without hovering over her in a panic every two seconds. The activities are colorful, engaging, and well-thought-out for little hands just learning how to use scissors. If you're looking for an independent, mess-free, and safe toddler craft, I couldn't recommend this enough.

Good quality; comes with scissors
I purchased the scissor skills set for my toddler. It’s such great quality and comes with everything you need. It has plenty of fun and engaging pages and projects. They have three levels and increase in difficulty. It even came with a glue stick so you don’t need anything to get started. The safety scissors are very useful and have a lever that helps it spring back and is easy to use for little hands.

Great for little learners
My grandson is learning to use scissors so this was a good activity for him. It is very nice and such a great value because it comes with the book, 2 pairs of scissors and a glue stick. He did dig into the glue so it was a little messy but not bad. Overall I definitely recommend this.

Fun activity to keep littles busy
Kept my daughter entertained for an hour. Would recommend for 4.5 and up. Good value. A bit messy with the shards of paper but overall clean activity.

High quality, thick paper, high quality content, 5 year olds can do it themselves
My almost 5 year old boy picked up this book from the shelf and started doing the activities all by himself every day after coming home from school. The instructions were clear enough and you could tell he was in the zone, enjoying cutting and gluing. I didn't have to tell him to do it (unlike other screen time activities like practicing the Alphabets). I used Auto Buy to catch it on a sale and it turned out to be a great purchase. You can tell the content is high quality made by craft lovers and educators (ie not junky cartoonish). Paper is thick. Plastic scissors are always trash but we have the Mr Pen kid scissors that are metal and actually cut.

Don’t get snippy… wait… do!
This is a very well-structured activity set. It walks kids through progressive skill levels, starting with straight lines, then curves and zigzags, and eventually full shapes, which makes it feel more like guided learning than random crafts. The included child-safe scissors and glue stick make it a true all-in-one kit, so you can open it and start right away. Activities are colorful and engaging enough to hold attention, especially for kids who are just learning fine motor control.Where it falls short is longevity. Once pages are cut, that’s it, it’s a one-time-use book. Also, some kids may need more repetition than the book provides to fully build confidence before moving to harder cuts.Pros: clear skill progression, engaging activities, includes scissors + glue, great for beginnersCons: single-use pages, limited repetition for mastery, requires supervision for younger kidsOverall: a strong beginner scissor skills kit that’s structured and easy to use, especially for kids just starting to learn cutting, but it’s more of a short-term learning tool than a long-term activity.

Scissor skills review
Purchased for my 4 year oldShe loves itIts really helped her with her cutting skillsShe was so happy with it

Fun activity with supervision
My little one loves it, though she is not old enough for the intricate patterns to use scissors. Quality of the craft paper is good, packaging is good. It's all bright and colourful. Scissors are deliberately dull.Note that if your child is too young to handle scissors, supervision is needed.

Great Independent Play Activity
My 3-yr old daughter absolutely loves this one, and honestly it’s such good quality. It comes with a couple of kid friendly scissors that stay with us even after the booklet is finished. It’s also a great way for her to practice her motor skills and how to follow the lines. But even when she doesn’t, it’s still super entertaining for her to just cut it up randomly. I ended up buying this more than once.I first found out about it when a friend gave it to us as a party favor in her kids bday, and thought this is an AMAZING favor instead of those silly things that just make a mess. Would def recommend.
