This JOYSTAR 16" Unicorn bike has been a fantastic surprise in terms of quality and overall design. The steel frame feels solid with clean welds, and the bike has a reassuring weight that adds to its durability without making it hard for kids to handle. The training wheels are stable with very little lateral wobble, which gives new riders confidence right away. The brakes work well once properly adjusted. Out of the box, they were a little tricky to fine‑tune, but with a bit of patience I was able to get them dialed in perfectly — just in time for Santa’s delivery. Once set, the coaster brake engages smoothly and consistently, which is exactly what you want for young riders. The color and overall looks of this bike are absolutely adorable. The bright finish, unicorn graphics, and matching accessories make it stand out, and the doll seat and streamers add that extra bit of magic kids love. It’s one of those bikes that gets an instant “wow” when they see it. Most importantly, it’s genuinely fun to ride. The geometry feels comfortable for kids transitioning from training wheels, and the tires roll well on both pavement and grass. My rider took to it immediately and hasn’t stopped smiling since. Overall, this is a sturdy, cute, and well‑designed bike that delivers great value for the price. Perfect for beginners and a guaranteed hit for any special occasion.

I got this JOYSTAR 16-inch bike for my kiddo and overall I’m really happy with it! It’s super cute, sturdy, and feels like great quality for the price. It also comes with everything you need to put it together, which I appreciated. Assembly was honestly way easier than I expected. There’s a quick YouTube video (about 6 minutes) that walks you through it step-by-step, and it made the whole process really simple. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the hand brake doesn’t seem to work very well (or at all), so that’s something to be aware of. Thankfully, the pedal brake still works fine, but I do wish the hand brake functioned properly. Overall though, still a great little bike and my kid loves it!

I got the size 18 bike but I feel like it’s a little bit bigger than a size 18. But it’s OK. It’s a good bike nice and sturdy took a while to assemble, but it was quite easy. It’s a little pricey. It cost me 186. I could’ve got one at Walmart for 90 but it’s OK. It performs pretty good so that’s all right with me. And the color is good too. my kid loves it because it’s her favorite colors.

It's really nice my 4 year loved it!! The only mistake om ky end was not making sure the size of bike I was ordering. It is too small for her but she saw the package arrived and started to cry when she heard I was going to return it. But other then the size is perfect !!!

I have twin granddaughters and bought two different bikes for them. They picked them. This is my favorite. The colors were adorable and bright. It had safty caps for the bolts and tire guards to keep the water from splashing on them. I wish it had a kickstand.

It’s a very cute bike. My daughter picked it out and she’s very excited about it. A few things I was less excited about however. They provide tools, but the tools they provide are terrible, especially the wrench thing. The sizing is off and will strip the bolts. So consider having your own tools on hand. The instructions aren’t great. They’re not clear, and certain parts are poorly explained if at all. The brake is hard to adjust as others noted (I should have looked more closely - overall the reviews were good so I didn’t read all the comments which was a mistake). And finally the doll seat. At least with the angle of the part i was provided with, you can only install the doll seat if the bike seat is up at the minimum insertion marks. I wanted a bike for my daughter to grow into, so she isn’t tall enough to have the seat up that high, which means no doll seat for her. And if the seat is anything other than at its tallest, the doll seat isn’t usable. She’s gonna be devastated. That or I have to figure out how to bend the metal. Oh, and it came with multiple scratches already. If I had to do it again I would go with a different bike entirely.

Granddaughter loved it, great price

This bike was really hard to put together! Took my adult son and I forever. We even watched a step by step YouTube video and it still didn't help much. Pieces don't align right, metal not bent in angles that work with the bike, etc. The tire fenders are so low they scrape the tire. After hoping it would all work out in the end, the bike rides terribly. Both tires are wobbly. If you are picking this bike for the baby seat, don't! It is so tiny that my granddaughters little 10" doll barely fits. Plus you have to raise the bike seat high up so the baby seat will fit underneath. The front brakes don't work at all. I guess I will have to find a YouTube video that will help me fix it. Ooh, and the instructions they included doesn't even go with the bike I have! I honestly don't want to deal with a return right now and hunt for a new bike right before Christmas. Definitely wish I would have picked a different brand.
