JITTER FREE DRINKS!
I recently tried the Drink Update Energy Drink with Paraxanthine, and I can confidently say it’s a game changer! As someone who loves energy drinks but often feels the jitters and crashes that come with caffeine and sugar, this product is a breath of fresh air. First off, the taste is fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of flavors in the 12-pack—each one is delicious and refreshing. They manage to be energizing without any of the overpowering sweetness that often comes with other drinks. What I appreciate most is the jitter-free, crash-free experience. I can enjoy an energy boost without worrying about the overstimulation or withdrawal effects that usually follow a typical energy drink. It’s perfect for my busy days when I need a reliable pick-me-up. Knowing it’s caffeine and sugar-free gives me peace of mind, allowing me to stay energized without the negative side effects. This has truly become my go-to for an afternoon boost! I highly recommend Drink Update Energy Drink to anyone looking for a clean, effective energy solution. It’s a stellar product that delivers on its promises!

New toxic formula!
This drink WAS great. It now has sucralose which is very toxic. Nowhere on their site does it say they changed the formula, just some new flavors. Didn’t think to check it. Now stuck with 8 cases of crap I can’t consciously give away. I can no longer recommend these drinks to my patients. VERY DISAPPOINTED with this company!

A smooth, clean alternative to traditional energy drinks
For reference, I am 27yo Male with prior Military service. I decided to try these because I no longer enjoy taking large doses of caffeine. When I was younger, caffeine gave me a lot of energy, but now it just makes me anxious. I also don’t like sugary drinks, so I was drawn to these since they have little to no sugar and use a different stimulant than traditional caffeine. The first thing I noticed was the flavor. If you enjoy sugar-free Red Bull or other low/no-sugar energy drinks, you’ll probably like these. But what really stood out to me was how quickly the energy kicked in—it reminded me of when I first started drinking caffeinated drinks. I took my first one around 9:30 AM with a friend so we could compare how it made us feel. About 30 minutes later, we both started noticing the effects, and they were pretty strong. We went for a quick hike, and neither of us felt overstimulated—it was a clean, smooth energy boost. By around 3:30 PM, we got back home and were able to take a nap, which was surprising given how effective the drink was earlier. I’d recommend these to anyone who still enjoys the benefits of caffeine but, as they’ve gotten older, doesn’t like how traditional caffeine affects them. It’s a refreshing alternative to standard energy drinks.

Decent Drink & Great Customer Service
When I originally ordered these I received a pack that had some sort of corrosion or mold on top of 2 of the cans. Contacted the company through their IG page and they apologized and immediately sent out a replacement. While waiting for the replacements I threw away the bad cans and tried all four flavors of the original order. I was not a fan at all. Each had an initial bad taste and then it seems to hit you a second time with a different bad taste. I’m guessing that they must have been version 1. The replacements I received however all tasted fine. The taste isn’t sweet like ZOA with sucralose or anything but the flavors were pretty good and mild. Slightly more flavorful than a flavored seltzer. Didn’t have a bad aftertaste. I did notice that my energy levels were more sustained throughout the rest of my work day and I had good focus for work. It’s not an all day energy but got me through my work day without issues. With the amount of Paraxanthine in this drink though I would not recommend drinking any other drink that has caffeine in it the rest of the day though. I’m guessing the replacements they sent were their version 2 which I would buy again. It won’t be a constant purchase due to cost but a case here and there every so often I can handle. Hopefully at some point I can see these in Costco to get a bulk discount.

It tastes like accidentally being electrocuted, but...
It provides a very, very clean energy. After dealing with some nervous system damage I can't drink caffeine like I used to. It doesn't just give me jitters anymore, but twitching muscles in my arms, legs, and eyelids. Caffeine also makes me very easily irritated, which is not like me. It occasionally gives me chest pain, which is ultra sketch. And the crash is pretty awful. I get none of that with this paraxanthine drink. Yet, the energy is definitely there, more noticeable than caffeine. The only issue is the flavor. They really should have tried one of these drinks before finalizing the recipe. One sip would do. It's like the energy drink equivalent of vegemite. Wouldn't hate to see a non sugar-free version maybe? Honestly, the flavor isn't my favorite, but it does make me sip on it rather than pound it in two minutes. And I don't care if it tastes like meth cooked in a witch's cauldron, I'd still drink it, because it works.

Amazing Potential, but still falls short.
Completely transparent review: So I'm a fairly aware and sensitive person when it comes to supplements and caffeine. Really into nootropics, cognitive perfomance, etc. I'm sure most people that stumble across this product will fall into 1/2 categories. 1) You are also like me and like trying out novel/new nootropics to get an edge or optimize for some portion of your life. 2) You just want to try out a new energy drink, maybe because you're sensitive to caffeine, etc. For taste, I'm sorry, maybe I'm used to more sweet energy drinks now that I've transitioned exclusively over to Sugar-Free energy drinks, but this is not it. They need to go back to the drawing board and re-vise these flavors. I get they may want to attract a certain audience by only using "Natural" sweeteners like Monk Fruit, Steviol/Stevia, but it sure tastes like they only used that. Throw in some artificial sweetener like sucralose if thats what they need to do -- its not gonna kill people lol. The best one so far is Peach, but thats still a solid 6/10 for me. The rest are flops 4/10 at best. I feel like i'm forcing myself to drink these to get the effect I want. For effects, it does what it touts to do. I do wish they gave dosages for the other nootropics like L-Theanine and Alpha-GPC BESIDES just the Paraxanthine dose (300mg serving per can (12 fl. oz) and it says do NOT exceed more than that dose per day. I've drank 200mg caff + 300mg px and been just fine though.) It definitely feels smoother than traditional caffeine -- like caffeine gives you that kind of "aggressive" push which makes you jittery, but this just makes you feel more awake/alert I've noticed, a much weaker push that is still there. The sensation is similar but toned down to traditional energy drinks. If you've never been able to tolerate traditional energy drinks because the caffeine gets you on edge, etc, give this a shot if you've got money to spend. Could be worthwhile. I'm sorry but these cost way too much for what they are. I get its some novel, patented nootropic they're using, but no reason these can't be a little bit cheaper. And I'm not sure if its the same way on their official site, but on Amazon, ordering the variety pack too 2 weeks to get to me from the order date. I can't in good faith endorse these yet until they at least address the flavor systems of these drinks. I'll probably buy a pack and let them sit in my fridge for a rainy day when I need the energy a little closer to bed time, but until then, not sold on these. I'd rather recommend something like Gorilla Mind Energy if you're looking for something that is better value, tastes better, and has even more cognitive enhancing nootropics. The caffeine in there is balanced out by L-theanine with exact dosages and isn't as aggressive as other energy drinks I've noticed. Overall, 6/10.

Great product!
I'm not a heavy caffeine/stimulant user but occasionally want more of a boost and don't want to just drink more tea or coffee because it can make me a bit on edge and disturb my sleep. A friend recommended Update and I have to say it works as advertised. Good energy and clarity without the side effects. I've been in the supplement industry for many years and have sampled all sorts of products. Most of them are junk. I really like the ingredients in this one and find they work well together. I was curious about the taste after reading some of the reviews here and find that they taste just fine. I actually like the flavors :-) Not too much flavor or sweetness which is rare these days. I can see how some people might not like the taste as much but that's what you get when you add nootropic ingredients to a beverage. I can definitely see myself drinking one of these on the days I need a bit more energy and focus.

The sweetest energy drink I've tried and not in a good way.
I have tried TONS of energy drinks and have been searching for the right one for me. I'm glad that all these ingredients are very close to being the right ones for me. The caffeine seemed to be a healthier option as I was looking for a stem-free drink, but those are apparently impossible to find. Sweetened with stevia and monk fruit are a much better option for someone trying to avoid aspartame and Acesulfame (a toxic sweetener). Any company apparently can't get the sweetner thing right when they use stevia and monk fruit. It doesn't need to be THIS sweet. Like, holy God this is the most potently sweet energy drink I've ever tasted. It leaves the flavor on my throat for many minutes. I bought the variety pack, two flavors in and I can't power through a single one of these cans. They don't taste good, and it's a bit chalky. Possibly 10x sweeter than it should be. Think a 5 hour energy shot but it's a full can. I have trouble believing anyone would enjoy that. The only place I found to buy from was the company itself through amazon and they canceled my first order after delaying it and then seemingly did the same thing until it just randomly arrived at my house. Weird. I drank about half of the blue raspberry and it gave me an okay amount of energy but probably because of how angry it made me that the drink was so gross. I will try one more flavor in a few days after I rest my buds, but I have a feeling it'll be just as bad. I will not be buying again.
