Not happy** A: I would return it and tell the vendor to resend the item and you send back the first box. **Q: Can you describe the "fresh" scent? Does it smell like Tide or Downy or...?** A: It smells a bit like fresh linen. Maybe even like Dove soap. I hate florals and don't like too fruity - could only tolerate the Mountain fresh type scents - so, it definitely does not smell like flowers or fruit. It does not smell like any of the Tide products I have used. I don't know about Downy because I it makes me break out so I don't use it (my mom stopped using it when I was a small child). The best way I can describe it is "clean." It just smells clean. I actually really like it and I am pretty finnicky about smells. **Q: Do white clothes stay white?** A: Yes, our detergent will not discolor any clothing. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use, but expensive *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 August 2026* I've been happy with these so far. They work really well. I like that their fragrance free and they last ages, they are on the expensive side tho. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ easy switch from traditional liquid or powder detergents *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 4 December 2025* These detergent sheets are excellent—simple, effective, and eco-friendly. They dissolve completely in both hot and cold water, leaving clothes fresh, clean, and free of residue. I’ve used them on a variety of fabrics, from delicates to heavy cotton, and they consistently deliver thorough cleaning without fading colours or irritating sensitive skin. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, and a single sheet per load is sufficient, making them highly economical. Packaging is compact and minimal, reducing plastic waste and making storage effortless. Overall, Clean People Laundry Detergent Sheets combine convenience, performance, and environmental responsibility—an easy switch from traditional liquid or powder detergents ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good cleaning power, lacks fresh smell *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 October 2025* I can say that the cleaning power is excellent however there is a lack of smell, particularly as my first use was washing clothes we'd used when cleaning the pond, thought I'd try my first use with a challenge, however the clothes, whilst really clean, still smelt like dirty ponds. I've since washed my towels and again whilst clean, they do not smell like clean washing, which is disappointing. The box is tiny, so doesn't take up any room, 2 sheets needed per wash, so won't last that long, and will work out expensive in the long run, but I'm happy with the cleaning power, just need to sort out some kind of eco friendly fabric conditioner as I just don't like not having that fresh clean smell. ## Frequently Bought Together - The Clean People Laundry Detergent Sheets - Laundry Soap - Ultra Concentrated, Recyclable Packaging, Stain Fighting - Fresh Scent, 96 Pack - The Clean People Fabric Softener Sheets - Dryer Sheets - Softens & Removes Static Cling - Vegan Laundry Softener With Essential Oils - Fresh Scent, 120 Pack - The Clean People Dishwasher Pods - Cuts Grease & Rinses Sparkling Clean - Residue-Free - Phosphate Free Dishwashing Pods - Lemon, 60 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://congo.desertcart.com/products/565245442-laundry-detergent-sheets](https://congo.desertcart.com/products/565245442-laundry-detergent-sheets) --- *Product available on Desertcart Congo* *Store origin: CD* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
