I am new to using essential oils and this Aromis Nebulizer was my very first purchase. I didn’t want to go down the path of using a diffuser and thinning out the oils with water so this seemed to be the logical choice for me. It is made of hand blown glass and has a beautiful wood base that give it a very scientific but elegant look. There are no blinking lights, no Bluetooth connectivity or any other crazy features that In my opinion are just unnecessary for such an appliance. This thing serves its purpose in a very straight forward, efficient and intuitive fashion. The design, quality and workmanship are top notch and well worth the price I paid for it. It works beautifully and I have used it every day since I got it. It has a built in timer that turns the unit off and on in 10 minute intervals over an 8 hour period. You can increase and decrease the output by adjusting the knob but I have found the lowest setting to be optimum for the rooms I use it in particularly my music studio. It does make a purring sound when it’s running but most of the time I never really notice it or find it bothersome. The top of the unit has a removable glass bulb that can be oriented to direct the flow of the output. Unfortunately I accidentally broke the top when I dropped it on tile floor. The company sells replacement parts and I was able to replace this in just a few days. I have to say I really love this thing and moreover I have become totally fascinated with aromatherapy and essential oils. I highly recommend this product and I will likely be buying a few more of these in the future.

A little bit of background: I came to essential oils primarily as a way to combat allergies years back. I've tried a little of everything from the electric diffusers you can buy at your grocery store to this one, my favorite ever home diffuser. I've used it for several months now and am overall very pleased with its form and function. Pros The diffuser does an excellent job or permeating a room with scent. I use it every evening when I'm going to bed and am considering a second for the living room this fall. It has a solid choice of settings to allow you to lightly scent a room or fill it with fragrance. This is especially helpful when I'm not feeling well and want to fill the room quickly with scent. It is extremely easy to clean and care for. A little alcohol has been all that is needed. It seems sturdy and like it will last a while. The base is heavy and solid. The glass isn't nearly as fragile as I was afraid it would be. I'll be keeping it out of reach of children and pets but I don't feel a need to handle it with kid gloves when I'm cleaning it. This diffuser is absolutely beautiful! While that wouldn't be important if it didn't perform well, it does and so it is. Cons The diffuser makes an audible sound that is fairly high pitched. In all fairness, I'm pretty sensitive to sound and it is very possible this wouldn't bother anyone else. I've resolved the issue by placing the diffuser across the room and using a sound machine when the diffuser is running. NOTE: the pitch changes with the intensity level so it is very possible to find a sound and diffusion level that you're content with. The documentation with the diffuser mentions a limit of three consecutive hours of use. That can be difficult as there is no timer built into the device. I resolved it with a Belkin Conserve Socket F7C009q Energy-Saving Outlet but you could easily do so with a cheap lamp timer from your local hardware store. My parents have the same diffuser and use a timer we used to use for Christmas lights. Works out beautifully. All in all this is a great diffuser that will cover larger areas. I have and will continue to recommend it to others.

The advantage of the nebulizing diffuser is that they use the straight oils, no need to mix with water. Therefore you get a greater benefit and don't have to worry about allergy causing mold and mildew. This is the best nebulizing diffuser of the three I have purchased from Amazon. I bought two USB rechargeable units the first one was great and I loved it for about a week, then it ran but didn't diffuse anymore. I ordered a second from the same company thinking I may have a defective unit, exact same scenario. Then I tried the Two Scents unit which had no scent at all diffused and it leaked oil into the bottom of the unit. The Aromis looks a little strange but has worked flawlessly. It diffuses enough scent to fill my entire living area and goes through oil very slowly. It is super efficient. It makes a little noise but it is equivalent to rain, not unpleasant at all. I do wish that they would make a rechargeable version. It's nice to be able to move it around the house and travel with it easily. This is the most expensive nebulizing diffuser of the ones I tried but it is by far the best.

Update 2/19/2022: Have to remove one more star. After using it for about 6 month, the atomizing doesn't work anymore unless the pressure is cranked to the max. After ordering a replacement pump, it's back to working again. So now it works, but having to buy a replacement pump about 6 month of usage, that's just not right. Original 6/21: This was bought to replace various water based diffusers. The design is simple yet easy on the eyes. On the 2 months where it was working fine, the scent pushed out by it is phenomenal. The difference between the scent coming from it versus the water based diffusers is night and day. The noise coming out of it is in no way whisper quiet. When in action with the knob in the 1/4 position, the sound has a moderate buzzing sound. This level of noise is tolerable if using during sleep. Going to the 1/2 position, the noise becomes very noticeable. The sound level is akin to a tower fan set to medium speed. On 3/4 to full turn, the noise is unbearable. When it is in idle during the 10min on/off cycle, there is a high pitch buzzing sound. One would think during the off time, the noise level should be close to zero, but that is not so. For people who are sensitive to high pitch sound, this will drive them crazy. The bottle where the essential oil was place in worked for bout 2 months. The bottle was cleaned as describe in the manual with 91% isopropyl alcohol and using the pipette that came with the product. Even doing so, the essential oils that previously diffused would no long do so. After ordering another glass bottle, everything works again. This product would have been great if the glass bottle lasted longer than 2 months and the noise level reduced at high setting. One would think with the short life of the glass bottle this product should deserve 1 star the most. The extra star is for the 2 month where the scent produced was fabulous.

We purchased this item over one month ago and my wife and I are very pleased with the performance and quality of this product. Within the first 5 - 10 minutes of operating the diffuser for the very first time, our entire home smelled of Lemongrass. The 10 minute on/off feature for a total of 4 hours of the diffuser is a perfect balance because it allows for the scent of the essential oils to linger throughout the day. The Aromis website allows for video instructions on how to care for the diffuser which is quite useful and makes it very easy to clean. We highly recommend this diffuser to anyone who is looking for an easy-to-use, well made, and a readily accessible customer service via the website.

At a lower output speed it disburses a small amount of oil that leaves a barely perceptible scent, and then turns off. The output a high speed, for me the output is too strong. To keep the output going this unit needs to reset throughout the day, or the oil sits unused for days. I was expecting this type to work like the water-based ones, you set it and forget it, and it runs until the all the liquid it gone. This unit is attractive, and has a small footprint, but cannot recommend it.

Like: Unit seems to function well. (I will update as needed.) Disliked: Not what I expected to receive. What I received is not even among the possible selections at the time order was placed. Photo 1 is what I received and whereI expected to place and use this diffuser. Photo 2 is the unit I ordered and expected to receive. There are times when Aesthetics are important. They can help product feelings of calmness and happiness.This gift was suppose to bring this calmness and happiness through the combination of aromatherapy and aesthetics. I took the time and effort that was needed in an attempt to match an aromatherapy diffuser with the room it would be placed. I thought is had found the best "match" for this gift. Yes, I am aware of wood products and possible grain and color variations. But I believe what I received is well outside of those normal variations.. In an attempt to not have me go though the hassle of a return and the stress of waiting to see it the "new" diffuser was correct said, "It's OK, don't return it." Punchline: Initially I would have given a 1 star rating. But to be fair the unit does seem to work OK and 1 star would not be fair. I will provide updates about longevity after this diffuser has been in use for awhile. I am not in a big hurry to place any more orders with ArOmis and continue to look for a replacement that more closely matches the intended room of use.

The diffuser arrived on time and was packaged nicely. It looks professional and does not have any cheap parts. The knob is made of metal, the pipe is made of glass, and the wood - is real wood. I initially had some issues operating the unit, so I called Aromis (the company that makes this product) and their staff addressed my questions prompty and thoroughly. The only drawback to this diffuser is that it did not come with very detailed instructions. As far as operation is concerned, this diffuser is quite powerful! It will easily spread the scent of a given oil over a large room in ~10 mins. If I were to buy a second diffuser for whatever reason, I'd buy this one again.
